Just simply search "The Gladiatorz" in your favorite search engine and you can fill out an application on our forums and join!!!

We have been around as long as RuneScape and I'm proud to be apart of such a clan.
If you never heard of any of these clans in this dev blog you are truly missing out!!

A good history of a few clans, but where are the POCS? You can't have a history of clans without at least mentioning them. Only a few clans are about PKing and this memoir seems to be about them entirely. Disappointing, but expected.

Wow, totally left out EoS, RR****, TRWF, SE, Corr, Collision, Anarchy, RoT...and probably a lot more good clans out there. Do your homework better.

Hi Mod Timbo.
I was in Dark slayers. I believe the date we closed was March 14th 2007, many months before the wilderness did, and we closed due to our clan leaders going to college. O_o

Wheres Exercitum? Cant write clan history **** without including them, Many of the clans listed by you have had many many fights with exercitum militus of honorum (to give it its full name) kthnxbai

I am in agreement with this. You've missed out many, many great clans. There are also many non-combat based clans, which are also becoming more and more popular (Clan Peacefull for example, I'm one of the leaders, and have posted about it a few times in the Clan Leaders forum...); it annoys me a little how Jagex hardly give the non-combat side of RuneScape much mention, even though that community is always growing, rapidly.

I find it interesting that this Blog was written by someone other than a Mod (it was written by someone outside of Jagex, for that matter). I wonder if any future blogs will be written by non-Jagex people?
Those who wish more was included in the history might want to try writing an article themselves and submitting it to Jagex. I'm not sure how this blog came about, but this should set some sort of precedent for allowing other people to get onto a blog (though it's probably very unlikely)

RoT is a 2k9 clan
and to all you RSOF people coming here talking about POCs and skilling, l0l0l0l0l0l join a real clan.

The article is inaccurate, they didn't even include THE for crying out loud, the oldest running clan in the entire game.
But meh w/e, I don't expect much from someone who joined the clan world in 2008 to know the entire history.
