^_^ Rather enjoying 8Realms!
Some of the construction/research times are a bit lengthy, but it makes a good game to play before you go to bed :P It also runs a little slow, is there any way to lower the quality?

Dont want to sound as a sour or grumpy person. But that 8realms is far from ready yet.
In my view they run a extended beta version with runescapers as ( hopefully gem buying ) players. The game has way to many bugs and glitches. Even the beta testers themself complain about it.
But i agree the game has serieus potential. If they wouldnt make those research things take so insane long. AND if they get rid of the bugs e.g not able to log in. Screen freezes. things not able to build because of faulty game coding ( 8realsm own words ) and certain features are interfering wich each other making the game priority system unreliable. Add the lag and you have a in potention great game. wich was sadly enough not ready to been launched in the first place.
But thats just my own humble opinion.

This game is pretty cool although construction times are like to keep you on all the time? Kind of addictive game but its pretty cool, give it a try ;) the research time is pretty long but this also makes more of a competition wouldn't you say? By the way i'm 51% thru the classical age ^_^

You will get the gems once you progress out of the ancient age, it shouldn't take you too long to get to that point. :)

I'm really starting to like this game. Although construction/research times take forever, I like how it runs in real time. I can just go watch a movie or something and when I come back, I got a ton of resources!
Almost halfway through classical age! :D
