by definiton skill is defined by physical/mental ability.
runescape requires very little mental ability (the most is about to the extent of going on wiki + basic math skills), so you cannot base woox's skill on this.
i never said woox had no skill but the skill he does have comes from his reflexes (the only true factor which governs skill in runescape)
the only thing woox has done which i acknowledge and respect him for is his hardcore reflexes when he killed jad with 1 prayer point.
in terms of all the other bosses he has killed, it required no skill other than: research monster abilities, make setup, test it, brew, soul split flash, change prayers
(everyone in runescape can do this, soul split flashing takes LITTLE practice to learn how to do)
that being said, even though woox was able to kill jad with 1 prayer point when the game mechanic still existed i believe it was worthy of at most a forum sticky made by a Jmod challenging Woox16 to attempt it.
i believe posting his name on the front page went too far, the front page is for UPDATES not to issue challenges to an individual player.
i'm sure many players can agree they want to see updates that DIRECTLY affect them such as the current problems with frame rates, not being told about a video maker's ego boosting event.

In an effort to make this thread a little more friendly, I'll offer this suggestion: Instead of having one player do it, have a group of top players have a competition, or make it a community thing where everyone can try the challenge. I know Jagex won't take this advice for this event, but its something to think about in the future.
Btw, I from what I hear, the dominion tower isn't that hard. Matter of fact, most people end up quitting out of boredom instead of dying. Just something to think about for those of you who can't wait to brag about woox's big accomplishment of playing the dominion tower.

Edit: In fairness to woox, he does have incredible patience to make all his videos happen. Although this is runescape and its just a matter of mouse clicks, the amount of tries along with the planning does take some talent in and of itself. Although his fans tend to be a bit...radical... in their erm... obsession with woox (which does in turn make him look less likable even if it's not his fault).

@dison
Endurance mode isnt that bad. You can basically use your spec and kill the boss almost instantly. (depending on the boss you get) Climber mode is a lil more difficult as it sets hanicaps against you, which hurts after you get to about round 20ish

_____
add to his soul split flash a protect from melee flash and a shield switch to spear switch flash from his most recent corp kill while dodging the core and it becomes more impressive,( thats like 5 flashes if you consider the core is an extra click) not the "LITTLE practice to learn how to do" you stated, in fact for some it would take years to do all those switches.
but you still didn't address my earlier post.

Dison, i can actually agree to that.
by singling out woox your implying he is better than everyone else when in actuality there are players such as smokey1992 and Born for PvM who are just as good, mabye even better.
i wouldn't be so outraged by this if they made a pvm tournament (kinda like they did with clan cups) and then got the top 10 winners of the pvm video contests a challenge.
if they made this a tournament style spectacle then it would be alot more interesting, because at the moment i feel jagex fell head over heels for woox16 and are ignoring all the other top pvmers.
if they are going to be making updates regarding challenges, they should be making it a tournament for ALL players and the top 10 are then given honorable mentions on the front page.

Crovax,
I know you weren't really talking to me but I for some reason feel obligated to answer your first post you keep referring to. I understand what your trying to say but in all honesty I don't find much of anything that incredible on runescape. I really don't find most of what ANYONE does as amazing. Runescape is too duplicatable for me to really be awed by someone.
Although the time and effort given is more worthy of praise (or insult depending on who you are :| ). I'm not trying to sound like I'm flaming woox, it's just that this type of game doesn't really lend itself the ability for amazing.
If you would like to discuss his ability as a filmmaker, though, then your more than welcome to argue that point. I personally am entertained by his videos which do take creativity and patience to pull off. I can tip my hat to him for that. ^_^

thnx for the reply dison even though ryujin wont reply, what i meant by his actions were worthy of praise was in terms of what ryujin was trying to say was worthy of praise. what i was trying to show was that his definition was less valid than the one i presented. If we are talking about achievements on runescape, then yes his time and effort would be achievements worthy of praise. if we are talking about achievements in real life, then that would be what you're talking about (which is something different although i get what you're saying). you may not be impressed by his actions, but if you are looking for someone who has achieved impressive feats "ON runescape" then he would fit that definition.
