what i was going to say gives pretty much the same message that dison said.
i know that seems like i'm dodging the question, although i'll have to agree that no one was born incredible.
although that being said i just can't consider runescape a game that measures how incredible someone is, the platform for this game is too basic to be able to get an accurate idea of how skillful a player on this game is.
i suppose if you wanted to see skill you'd have to test his abilities on hand to hand combat games or possibly FPS games (which rely fully on skill and not a dice system for damage)

Crovax,
Fair enough. Woox does take pvm to an extreme and does try to push the boundaries. He certainly doesn't do pvm like most people :P
Edit: Though I still don't support Jagex for singling him out as basically the best at pvm. But he is probably the most known out there.
Edit: Edit: I'm gonna get off for the night, try not to tear each other apart to much while I'm gone ;)

When it comes down to it, woox has skill to a certain degree.
all i can really say about his skill on runescape is that he is quick with his fingers and has concentration + doesn't panic.
thing is, the only thing that makes him stand out to me is his jad solo with 1 prayer point.
as far as his other solos go, i wouldn't consider him god status for it.
EDIT: don't worry, i'm done arguing i can acknoledge woox is more skillful then most players at RS because of the time he invested into it however i cannot admit that he is the only one capable of such feats as any other maxed account is able to do them with practice. that being said, i disagree with him being singled out and this tower challenge should have been a community event not an event aimed at one player.
with that, good night for now.

____
interesting points, but i would ask the questions is that skill really an indication of if a person is incredible? weren't they born with the skills to react quickly on those fps games? or whatever talents they use to be good at the Fps game? and if not then would you say they spent time and effort instead? what would you say makes a person good at fps games? which do you think indicates if a person is incredible?

I don't know whether or not it's sad that I've, over the course of the last day or so, read nearly every posting on this thread, but resultantly I have a preeeetty good idea of peoples' base perspectives regarding this...event, I suppose. Or perhaps simply regarding the idea. I'd like to point out that DISON makes an excellent point regarding this...
What Woox16 does is to push the limits of PVM, challenge his own 'skill' (or whatever you define it as) --and, Primarily, luck, in the methods with which he challenges these fairly challenging bosses.
This is what JAGEX was looking for, in choosing to single him out, for this event. They are, as it happens-with cabbages, imposing a challenge of the sort that woox16 would himself utilize in a video.
NOTE: No, woox16 is not unique in arising to this sort of a challenge. for a single example, I would quote 'MatDragonx' (IMatDragonx on youtube)-'s video, of himself killing Jad with an easter carrot, after having been told it was impossible. --SIMPLY AN EXAMPLE!--
I would personally lean towards the position that the individuals at Jagex were misunderstood, when out of understandable excitement, they denotated woox16 'the bane of boss monsters everywhere'. It must be noted, however, that they did not assign the title of 'best **mer', as many players seem to assume. That was entirely the brainchild of other players such as yourselves.
Woox16 is simply, as MOD Kathy states on the first page, 'A suitably hardcore boss guinea pig'. --NOT being announced as 'the best' by Jagex, in any way.
In addition, to the players debating on the last few pages...--thanks for keeping it...humane... Previously, arguments had become rather degenerate in comparison. You have displayed your perspectives rather impressively :)
NOTE:JAGEX HAS ALTERED THE COMPETITION SOMEWHAT, be sure you read through to understand how it will be different!

From a more personal perspective: Jagex, I'm interested to see what the outcome of this little challenge will be, though I'm personally not into PVM enough to take the challenge up myself...ever. :P ..I'm not close to maxed, and have enough trouble with nomad, still. Two nomads...AAAAllllmost there! :D ...But, anyways--This is definitely a new take on how players and employees interact, in a way... the challenge is made official. :) I would be interested, based upon what we see here in the near future, to see what along similar lines you at Jagex can come up with, perhaps not specifically restricted to the bounds of pvm/pvp... ;) I'll be Watching! O_o

Reading the thread, I failed to find a post where the mods claimed that woox was the best boss killer. I think a fair majority of the players posting negative comments are players who are just a little to preoccupied with their own egos to enjoy a fun event. Just relax and appreciate the fact that jagex is willing to interact with their players this way.
