If killing Nex without taking damage wasn't a glitch/bug abuse, then why was it removed? Why would you give players a few months to solo her then suddenly remove it without reasoning? Sometimes people should swallow their pride and just admit that they were wrong for once...
Using the safe spot was a clever use of the environment. However if we allowed it to continue being used that way it could devalue Nex which is why the update was made. We had brought it more in line with what we had intended. :)

That being said, you (meaning Jmods) are praising someone for soloing Nex in a way that wasn't supposed to be possible? Aka a fault or um BUG ABUSE? That's like Jagex making an update that causes Kalphite King (when it is released) to not attack back and me doing it before its fixed and claiming I'm the only one who soloed it. Pretty sure when Bu11seye00 did something that wasn't intended, he got his mage xp and dg rank penalized lol...

@Hybrid, they didn't mention Zezima or any other players for a very long time because that's the stance Jagex previously held. They had very little interaction in game with players and events like this would be completely unheard of in the past. Since MMO took over there's been a vast change in the interaction and relationship between J-Mods and RuneScape players and I think it's awesome that things like this are happening and Jagex is acknowledging modern day 'RuneScape legends'. Very cool stuff!

Is everyone done crying about him solo'ing Nex? It isn't his only claim to fame. As Jagex pointed out he had several impressive feats like taking down the Corporeal Beast in manners that most people wouldn't even attempt.

@deadboy, okay so since thats the "stance" jagex previously had, and jagex is trying to turn around and become all of a sudden the "good guys", why is the game still boring as hell? Why am i still paying 5 bucks a month for... 1 quest a month...and...thats it? Seriously. Give me a break. It's like Sesame Street and a 1990's rpg game put together. Can we PLEASE get some good programmers to do their job. Jeeze.

See I have this dilemma. I have to go to class, but I really just feel the need to rant about your incessant childlike behavior. Stop being a whiny baby. Seriously. If you had any idea how difficult their job was maybe you'd have some respect. It isn't like they can just push a button and there's a new quest. And as for Woox16.. He is really good. Flashing a prayer on and off the way he does for so long flawlessly while attacking each individual healer and continuing to pray swap until he gets them in a line and stuck, before continuing to punch a level 700+ to death is difficult. I happen to know beyond the shadow of a doubt, that you - given a year - could not come close to accomplishing that feat. If you call that cheating... than please by all means cheat as well as he did.
I'll say it again. Grow up. Put on your big-boy pants. And stop freaking complaining.

How many other MMO's have you played, honestly?
nothing is as vast as Runescape at this point in time. no game involves as many hours of gameplay to truly be considered "done" thus why there are so few people in the community that actually have reached these completion points.
then there is the fact that they continue to add new content. no other developed MMO adds updates at the rate which Jagex does for Runescape, and you generally have to pay for a new expansion pack on top of your monthly subscription.
i don't understand at all where you're coming from. you're quite off base in reality. if you're that bored, why continue to play?
