Sorry,no one cares mate.
You have the time to tell us you're closing your friends chat channel la-di-da-la but you don't have the time to reply to us on your rubbish updates?
And no,I'm not being harsh.I'm tired of acting like I don't care about these terrible updates.You tell us you listen and you do the complete opposite.
My advice:
I think the Jagex team should buy their entire staffing team some English classes so we can communicate on the same level.

In typical jagex fashion, don't fix the problem just ignore it and create another one. Nice.
Never was a fan of the Jmod FCs(as information given/taken was just as easily transferred on the forums but the forums being easier for all players to see) but this move really seems like ducking your head in the sand.

Friends chat ranks have no more jurisdiction here than they Fmods do ingame. You really are wasting your time. I'm not stupid enough to say something that will get myself muted.
The reason we chose this place to contact the almighty and god-like MMG is because there is no other method that comes close. He makes zero appearance on the forums where everyone can question him. Friends chats have limits to how many members. And what does he do? He delegates in his usual way.
I find it amusing how he manages to spend time chatting with his 'friends' and spend no time posting on the forums. It's spineless.

"MMG was busy even for his friends chat he wasn't in it. SO indeed if he cared much more about his friends chat and was EXTREMELY rarely in there, he wouldnt have time to respond to your little smart comments about the game.

You do realize he's the CEO of Jagex? "Our little smart comments about the game" are indeed for him to see; as he's the CEO of the company and we play the game he owns. Speaking to anyone lower than him would simply be a waste of time as they hardly even know what's going on. I think they might be a bit unqualified for their jobs, to be honest. (With the exception of a few)
As for your derailing comment. I don't think you're a Jagex mod, are you? A Jagex Mod(Mat K) has replied to some of us and has deemed it okay to talk about this subject. So, again who are you to say what we can talk about? Are you above the Jagex mod? I wasn't aware you worked for the company. Please, stop being so dull.
Also, you do realize this thread is posted under "Community Home". So, why do you keep telling people to stop talking about the community? I think you're a little slow and not sure where you are at the moment.
Also, tell me how Jagex releasing an update that a lot of people don't like is the communities fault? We didn't make them release it. Jagex released it and we're giving them feedback.
So, please ask yourself; are you really that stupid to make so many invalid points in one post? Get the hell off the forums as you really don't know what the word discuss means.

Mod MMG, I don't know if you are reading this. If you are, I'd like to just say, as a 6 year veteran, that you need to start getting this game back to it's former glory. When the referendum occurred, you and everyone in Jagex stated that the botting situation could be handled if free trade and PvP wilderness was returned. Six months later, the percentage of bots has reached numbers that exceed any previous records. It doesn't take a degree in computer programming to figure out that you aren't able to handle the bots at this time.
Here are some suggestions that can at least get rid of most bots and serve as a temporary fix until you can shutdown the botting companies. First is to remove free trade and wilderness again. I know this idea sounds radical and will lead to a loss in income, but i can assure you that just like the first time, this game can recover. Another solution is to bring back Zero Tolerance. What i mean by this is stop giving botted accounts second chances (Rollbacks, selling banned bot accounts, ect.) Just do what you have done in the past: Ban anyone caught cheating permenantly. This method made people rethink about botting. Sure there were people who took the risk, but they payed the price in the end.
Anyways, the above are just suggestions for you to think about. I really hope you can at least consider them.

Half of you guys are ranting about useless things. Bots are being dealt with, whether you think they are or not.
You are flaming MMG as if he's done something wrong. He is the CEO of Jagex, not just Runescape. He doesn't have time to read individual posts (there are designated Jagex Moderators that browse through these forums).
I don't know why some of you are ranting about him not being in the friends chat himself when I haven't seen half of you before. I was a general in there and was in there majority of every day for over a year, and a regular chatter before that, so I should know who was or was not in there, just like a few of the other ranks that have posted on this thread.
This thread was to provide a reason to why he has closed his friends chat channel for people who needed to know, not for trolling.
....And some people wonder why they get no responses.
