I would like to congratulate Jagex for ****ing up the commmunity and making the worst decisions.
Even if you had to do this, had it not occurred to you that there are glaringly obvious solutions? Even a subforum at the bottom of the index where people can talk in other languages is better than the absolute nothing that you left them with.
The even more sad thing is that this post will probably be hidden for being "offensive" while the past 20 pages of legitimate feedback continue to be ignored. Re-consider your priorities because currently you are running this game and its community straight into the ground.

Jagex, you have made a really bad desicion, we tried to warn you, but you'll suffer the consecuences of this.
I'm just asking you, ¿Why did you didn't listen to your costumers, we pay the money you use to run the game, and that's how you pay us?

I will repeat my questions again maybe they can get answered
Jagex i have read every single page of this thread I use the English forum. But i dont think you should do this update. Look at everyone that has asked you not to do this.
Do their words mean nothing?
Do the players not make the forums?
Why change something that so many disagree with?
Many people are upset from this. Alot of my friends are sadden to see two great jmods go Mod Moonie and Mod Petal,
I went to moonies partys they were fun. She was the only person that got me into the games room. She was a friend of my friend and this had upset him. I might not have understood a word a few people have said in the partys because alot of the spoke dutch but it was still fun. I was shocked when my friend told me about mod moonie was gone.
I was even more shocked to find out that her accont was deleted from the game. So many people hanged out in her cc.
Why get rid of the partys?
Why get rid of a fun time in the games room?
The questions i have asked i know may be weird but we need to know why?
Why force everyone to do the same thing?
Is being an individual a bad thing?
Please answer a few of my questions. I know you may not be about to answer a few of them but some of them you may. Please
and nothing was spoiled :P

Well, to be honest the target of "we want to make sure we have the world’s best Community Management (CM)" Isn't going to happen by getting rid of those forums. You need to take into account that most players do not want those forums to go, and the departure of numerous popular and well-loved Jagex Moderators isn't going to help.
Please do not continue with this update. Hold a referendum if you must, but as you can see- we don't want it to happen.

Personally I believe this is the worst move in the history of the internet. If you are aiming to be the best, and have the best staff for it, why did several Jagex Moderators leave without saying anything? It's because of these updates that the communities have become upset, as the Dutch community had some great mods, one of which was Mod Moonie.
I'm never going to let this drop, and I really hope whomever is incharge of making these choices turns back.
As Guthix said in an above post- he is talking about me. Upon hearing that Moonie left and not hearing why made me extremely upset and cross. Infact I still am, and I shan't be content until it is rectified.
I am a 4- and a half year Runescape player- most of which I had membership, so trust me when I say this is a terrible decision.

"There will still be German, French, Portuguese/Brazillian and Dutch forums - but all other languages will be dropped and the community encouraged to join the massive English speaking community."
Not everyone can speak English- and the thing is, the players need Jagex Moderators they can relate to and Jagex Moderators who will notice their opinions and act upon it.
I used to spend the majority of my time in Mod Moonie's clan chat talking to the people in there, and upon her dissaperance numerous people were upset. Out of our own deduction we assumed things and pieced it together, but it seems that our fears have just been confirmed.
PLEASE do not go ahead with this update. We want the forums to stay as they were a few months ago, and we would like the Moderators back.

And let's be honest here- my friend got membership just for the forums. If you ruin the forums with this update, he's gone along with about 15% of people...

I've seen more threads with poor English since this change, than I have in all the years since.
And it's not bad English like "u shud" I mean it's a simple case of not being able to contruct proper English. You can tell these people are trying, they still want to use the forums, but it's quite hard to understand some of them, and as a result, the Community suffers.
Having Mods lock threads for bad English doesn't help either... Max Quest Points. Max Cool Points. Host of the Immensely Popular Lords of the Wait.
