Just wondering. I am making an RS video that involves NPCs talking with words appearing above their heads like they do with players. What software allows me to place such wording over an NPC's head?

As Gameboy said, any version of Sony Vegas is capable of doing that (not just pro). Simply download the runescape font, install it, and put in a Text Media at the point you wish them to talk. Alter the properties to a yellow colour, select the correct font and size, and type the text you want.
just search "Runescape Font" on google, it should come up. I can't post links, and I'm not sure I'm even aloud to say this :/
EDIT: Heehee, I see you are a fan of TNU

I had not realized that this thread held more of a purpose than help for the contest until now.
Anyways, hello! I am a lower-than-average video maker, just looking for a community who shares some of my interests... I suppose that would be here.
Is there any screen recorders for mac which are free or can be brought in the mac store
?
Unfortunately im using mac and cannot find any screen recorders
---
Just read back a little and saw this, and being a Mac user myself, thought I may give you my advice...
In my experience, there really isn't a *good* free Screen Recorder. Everyone that I found always had some annoying thing added upon its free trial, similar to the "Unregistered Hypercam2" symbol on the top right corner of videos filmed with that recorder. I use and recommend a program called "Screenium". I cannot remember the price for the paid version, but I believe it is under thirty dollars.
The free version, however has no symbols. Its only problem is that it will only record for thirty seconds at a time; not a problem if you are filming something such as an RSMV or random, short, clips.
Anyways, that is just my advice for Macintosh screen recording... sorry if it's not what you're looking for.
