If you already have Windows Movie Maker, you can use that to edit (However, if you wish to use a better program, I suggest looking into getting Sony Vegas).
To record, some well known programs are Hypercam, Camtasia, and Fraps. I personally use Camtasia.

To begin making a Runescape Machinima, you need a screen recorder. Most people use HyperCam 2 - Which is perfect to use. Other programs could be Fraps or Camtasia.
(If you use Camtasia, you can use the movie editor that comes with it, else if you don't. Ignore what I just said ;) )
Video your clips then import them into Windows Movie Maker.
Edit your video and save the movie as a WMV (Windows Media Video)
Upload to YouTube and you're done!

On another note: I'm going to bed. Make sure the Clan Chat's alive for when I get back!

ye but i don't fancy just paying over £400 for a laptop and ending up on wrong site and gettng it messed up lol Commander Zilyana pet drop! total of 2488 kills, 362 in hard mode.
