I can't take part in this, because that distortion glitch still exists for me in OpenGL. I can only use the DirectX option, or software.
I have made an epic battlefield too... It's huge! I guess I'll just have to put up with the crazy menu distortion so I can get a good picture.

This looks awesome, although I may wait until after the first build tick to submit a screenshot with a little more variety from the update to our citadel!
Hi guys,
I'll reply to questions properly tomorrow but the open gl thing is something I'll quiz the arty guys here to see if some of the other suggestions here can turn out a good enough quality image. No promises that we can tweak the the rules on that but theres no harm in asking. Ill let you know tomorrow.
Ta,

Edit: oh yes, and just quickly on the "why not wait to a higher tier?" points being made.
Its because we want to get some awesome screenshots up on the site sooner rather than later. As your citadels grow, there's no reason why we can't revisit this with another screen shot comp in a few months though. Fair enough?

I've sent my picture. I really like them to be fair. I used DirectX because my game becomes really laggy and pixelated with OpenGL. I still had the skyboxes though?
It allows you to change your viewing angle, and also remove interfaces. However, you'd need to use print screen or some program in order to actually take a screenshot.
I would gladly take part in this if the user interface module and camera functions for the Occulus Orb functioned, well, like a normal camera.
It needs to be able to point upwards at least 20 degrees higher to get screenshots that have a really good point of focus.
