A story I heard. Of a very old roleplay. (early 2010-2011?) Essentially, the leader of an attacking force survived powerful fire, and then ice magic that hit their head. The defending force made the attacking force retreat, and they then locked themselves in the Taverly POH portal. They declared their victory on the forums.

I facepalm at some of my early roleplaying days in the Rovins. It was weird, we had an iron man suit and a lightsaber???

One time the Fremennik people of Rellekka erected thirty foot stone walls with guard towers and cannons. In a matter of what would have been a few IC days. Fighting for those same Fremennik was a thirty foot tall granite titan. They were led by a Chieftain in 100% rune armor, riding a unicorn or some type of steed. Near the end of the conflict, an ambassador came from the loosing side to make peace. They were killed on an OOC dare, before they had even stepped off of the dock. Unfortunately, one of someone's main characters.

Another time I encountered six foot thick mahogany doors reinforced with
solid rune beams

We just broke through much thinner stone wall next to the doors.


The last face palm moment I remember is someone who was power-hungry and risked their character plotting against the King. They did so without enough secrecy and the King ordered them dead. That character was sadly someone's main character, and they were killed whilst making an OOC plea.

I am also still not sure why teleport tablets can kill people.

please allow me to explain

So regardless of whether or not you think the kandarin/rovin/aren/grey/mahjarrat/zaros/jas joint siege on the Fremennik for the 3rd month in a row was legit, the Fremennik group under Brave Jon really just.. did not. And so we collectively decided that, because this was probably the end of Jon's rellekka rp's due to how many times it gets attacked, we were just gonna go out with a bang. SO. I created this 30-to-70 foot (I don't know if you remember but I kept changing the size randomly throughout my actions) guy made of mountains that had been pretending to be a mountain, and I walked him over and placed those defenses down. And then I walked him back to the mountains until the rp actually started, I walked him after the Rovins who fired explosive bolts and then I reminded them just how tall he was and they went "NOPE" and walked away, and the entire rp fell apart after that. It's one of my fondest memories because NOBODY had ANY idea what was going on, I don't even actually remember the details of the war, it was that confusing for every single person. On purpose.

So, to answer the question "Are you kidding me...?", it's YES! And by god was it hilarious.

EDIT; Also, the chieftan was riding a rock crab, that's the steed you're remembering. There was a whole rock crab mounted fremennik force. You may be misremembering the chieftan in rock shell armor, which has the same stats as rune. Really, the whole Fremennik side was just throwing the fight as a farewell party.

Also I remember getting to meet the iron man suit rovin during an rp with Soter and some other guy who basically played Palpatine and being so thoroughly confused.
