Apology accepted, I was probably being over-sensitive. My intention wasn't to compare POC leaders but to bring up a personal concern regarding Tom's reputation for starting projects with real enthusiasm and then letting them languish. Pot, kettle, black there as I've done it a couple of times myself as has most of 42 from what I can tell (just look at what happened in Misthalin recently), but that's why I don't run POKs and neither should about 90% of 42.

I'll start by saying that any posts made by members of my clan and active participants in the Kandarin clan are not supported or condoned by myself. I find the behavior that's been seen here shameful, irrelevant, and unnecessary, but as I can't reach through a screen and cut off someone's hand, I'll ask my members once again to refrain from posting rude deragatory things that derail and flame this thread. Whilst I understand the sentiment my members have towards OP because of his very clearly past mistake of harassing the leader of the clan he's propping an invasion for, I also know the story of House Aerendyl who have always seen themselves as the 'rightful King's of Kandarin', despite obvious failures in the past made more clear by Sand's description of OP's record. That being said, I find this plot very reasonable on the part of the character, not the roleplayer, and think it's another obstacle for the characters involved to hurdle over. I will be arguing that Kandarin acknowledge this plot, based on the fact that ignoring roleplay is stupid and sparks the most hideous of arguments of which this community is so familiar with.

You would actually be undoubtedly and mightily mistaken there, for everyone outside of this PoK. When Drazker left the clan, it casted a pall over the the leadership and created an unclear direction that the clan could not comprehend or align with. The King was gone and supposedly still there but really gone, but not really gone. Upon Alli's return, this clan progressed ic'ly to include my own character who kept a very close relationship with the Queen and then married her, to cement the plot development which had taken off months prior involving their love affair. This allowed us both to jump on the saddle and tackle down some of the issues that caused the decline. We were able to tie loose ends and clear up many of the unclear circumstances that our characters (and other Kandarin characters) were marred by because of the gap left by OOC circumstances of a damaged leadership position. We were able to redefine the status of the kingdom in order to move forward.

The notion that this PoK regained activity and sparked back up because of Camelite independence, IC aggression, or the potential invasion of a historical enemy house, is a completely ludicrous statement. This clan sparked back up because the leadership and direction was redefined and regained stability. Events have taken place because IC loose ends were glued through character development and we have been able to progress forward with the plot ideas created beforehand, but were hindered by the departure of OOC leadership all at once which was not predetermined to hinder such developments.

I'd like to reiterate what I said beforehand. I hope to work with my clan and argue in supporting this potential invasion for the sake of roleplay. However, if the OP continues any negative jabs or remarks towards the clan and particularly it's leader, I will feel more inclined to denounce this plot and continue progressing our own stories that we've worked hard to develop overall. Furthermore, I do not support the members of my clan posting such unfavorable and shameful remarks which I have seen on previous pages before they were hidden. I can not forcefully make them stop, so I must ask them to, for the sake of redefining our clan and the way we're headed.
