Learn to summarise, dammit. My eyes hurt. Thanks Otoma.
Anyway, beef and disagreements aside, I do have a question. One which is entirely genuine and not me trying to be snippy; if I come off that way, say so and I'll remove this.
What's different about this occasion? In the past some of your creations, be they POKs, military orders etc. have been noticeably short-lived. I'm sure you recall the time a few years ago when Kel bumped all your many different threads to the front page, literally filling it with nothing but your abandoned ideas and the regular stickies. I'll grant things haven't been that bad in a while, but his point then was the same as my question now: you don't have a reputation for sticking at things.
Should this rebellion succeed, you'll be unseating a roleplay. An established, seemingly happy roleplay. You mentioned they'll get a role as rebels or subordinates in the regime to come and seem to imply everything will be smooth sailing. But unless I've misunderstood something, if they
wanted
to roleplay that sort of thing they'd be doing so already.
Please don't think this is me trying to undermine what you're doing here. I might have it all wrong. You might have agreed and pre-determined an outcome with the heads of Kandarin, and if so, props to you because there's not enough of that IMO. But if not, and you successfully unseat a roleplay only to abandon your conquest within a few months, then you'll be doing a serious disservice to the server as a whole and I'd like to know why I should disregard past experience and expect something different this time.
One man's trash is another's treasure, and one man's cash buys another's pleasure.
So I'll rob from the cradle, and I'll rob from the grave; it's just human traffic, and I'm just a slave.
