Title: Into the Abyss

Date and Time: Monday, January 2nd. 8:15 P.M. C.S.T.

Starting Location: Outside of the west entrance of Yanille.

Synopsis: Caedus having finished his needed research, planned on making an expedition into the void-realm known as The Abyss. Deciding that he's not strong enough to defend his friends, he'd think it's a good idea to travel there and train for a bit. Anyone interested would feel an arcanic pulse outside of Yanille... We might've just created something very powerful, something that can change the world.

After some large amount of construction West Ardougne was once more the military hub it was long ago. Commander Forge has ordered all of his captains to report to West Ardougne for a meeting.

The City of Yanille


CATASTROPHE

In the later hours of yesterday evening, a small group of rouge apprentices infiltrated the city from the West Gate and immediately began attacking guardsmen, citizens, and animals. The City Guard orchestrated the evacuation of all citizens to the eastern-half of the city.

The rouge apprentices caught fire to several buildings before Calderon Home Guard, dispatched from the Calderon Manor in Yanille, arrived in the city under Sir Avraad Calderon, the shield-brother of the Lord Calderon.

Within minutes of Sir Avraad's arrival and coordination with the city guard, the rouge apprentices were dispatched - most being killed but a few arrests were made.

Tommen Calderon and his company arrived back in Yanille shortly after the event, the group had been investigating the strange happenings in the woods to the west. An elven mage by the name of Prospero Bowen was killed. Authorities are saying that he was connected to the events that unfolded in Yanille.

With the help of the Wizard's Guild, the local guard, and the Home Guard - the fires were put out and most buildings have been repaired.

In other news...

Lord Fransico Blekenlis, a local businessman and last of his family, was found murdered in Yanille. The local guard believes that it was a robbery gone bad. Services will be held for him tomorrow... citizens are encouraged to come out.
