Wizards' Tower
°{¤}°
The Grounds.
South of Draynor lies a long white stone bridge, its path dimly lit by floating magical orbs. Here is the entrance to the Wizards’ Tower island, a small island carved out from the Kingdom of Misthalin by the Southern Sea.
The grounds are littered with the blue stone ruins of the Tower’s predecessor. These ruins form an outer ring with the remains of a small tower being found to the north-west. These remains house the Spellwisps, strange clouds of magical energy that hover around a strange blue portal. It’s currently unknown if they are drawn to the portal or if they are created form it but it has been noticed no matter how many of these wisps have been destroyed their numbers will replenish soon after.
Forming a middle ring is the white stone pathways that surround the tower. This ring is decorated with symbols of elemental and catalytic runes and various glyphs that are used to defend the tower. This pathway joins another white pathway that forms the inner-most ring through four diagonal paths. The inner ring, like the middle, is also decorated with rune symbols and glyphs.
Various trees, statues and fountains are dotted around the island and are often kept in immaculate condition by the Archmages’ Rune Guardians. South of the Tower lies a fairy ring, allowing those with dramen or lunar staves access to the Fairy Ring Network while in the east houses the sealed entrance to the lower levels of the First Tower Ruins.
