I'll be honest, people have been saying W42 is dying for years. They've talked about how much better it used to be (it wasn't better, just a bit more active), how bad it is now (I don't know how bad it is rn but tbf from what I've experienced it can get pretty bad), what the issue is and how to stop it. The truth is that W42's health is probably tied more to the health of Runescape in general, rather than just to the practices of the people that RP there.

That said? I've been to other RP communities since moving away from RS and let me tell you, they're a lot healthier just by virtue of having more hospitable practices. Its WILD how harsh this community can be, from a difference, and I think ya'll's best hope for change is to adopt the more mellow outlook that other communities have. Maybe don't be hardasses so much about stuff, like I used to be.

All of that said, you guys are alright. I'm rooting for you. Sorry if any of what I've said has already been stated, I didn't have time to read the entire thread. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI

I don't don't think our issue is rs so much as we have had some fairly dreadful people on here in the past (though most have now left). I think reconciliation is worth while at this stage though some of my former allies may need some convincing. I'm tempted to propose a situation in which ptol runs Misthalin (and gives Runekian a decent role) and Void runs Kandarin (since I believe the Kandar Empire is an absolute dead in in which its only logical conclusion - a violent rebellion against its cruel tyranny - is denied by its current owners. Asgarnia still seems unresolvable but it would be a start toward fixing things in my opinion.

We had a partnership to achieve a goal. All things considered I would say I played my part as well as could be expected but I had hoped for more from the morally superior leaders I put in charge of w42's major poks, we both know that I wanted to fight our enemies in honest IC combat afterall. Sure, you put Runekian and I in charge of Asgarnia and Misthalin respectively. You passed us two giant steaming piles of shit that we had to clean up in the least favorably way imaginable because you're completely incompetent in dealing with the same people you so badly wanted to fight in honest IC combat. Neither of us regret it because they were the best options left to us, with the alternatives being "instantly give up and fuck off to the corners of the game". Is that why you did nothing when the Witch Coven plot was fucking your whole shit up? This thread's about pride. So there's your pride, Pyro. I fully recognize that the choices I made at the start of my (public) inheritance of Asgarnia were bad, but I also know I had no choice in them, because by the time I had any agency in doing anything (you refused to, as always, like when you refused to do anything about Zarosian Dylan up until he ruined your entire server) it was way past too late and nobody in my group wanted anything to do with the very vocal people that were filling both the Kinshra and Camp Donblas. Which resulted in that massive canon split, since you taught them that they could just do whatever the fuck they wanted, and then when I actually punished them it was some dramatic reveal that shocked the world.

JUST like when you let Misthalin get to such a ridiculous point doing nothing about either the Witch Coven or Drak's rebellion that you for some reason thought was on your side in just promoting RP instead of trying to take it from you, that when action was finally taken (At least in Misthalin it was YOUR decision to void everything) it caused another split.

Sure, it's because of you that Runekian and I have a POK each. But it's also because of you that things got to such a shitty point that the splits happened. And you were the one pushing some head-ass claims that everybody latched on to while we all tried to do damage control because you have no god damn idea what you're doing, and ruined both of our shots at having a cohesive, whole canon. You left us with no choice but shit choices.

Both Runekian and I are going to continue doing our thing. We've stabilized things on our end, and maybe people that aren't head-up-the-ass about us will poke their heads in. Maybe they won't.
