I prefer the Jolly Boar, myself. Nice and spacious with an upstairs too. I like the atmosphere also, what with it being right next to the wild.

You'd THINK that locale would get the most brigands, yeah? It seems to be the tamest, though. I've only ever had goblins try to kidnap me there once.

Hotspot is still probably the Rising Sun. Whilst we've probably all had awful experiences there, I would still name it my favourite and preferred "mainstream" tavern.

Why? I enjoy the layout, Emily's company and makin' love at midnight.

Generally speaking the Rising Sun is /technically/ the most used.

However, due to its size and relatively remote location, it's usually the Jolly Boar that's used for actual RP events (like the RP night ages ago). It also has bedrooms, which are very useful in certain kinds of tavern RP. The Rising Sun is generally somewhat cluttered, and far more likely to be visited by trolls, and avoided by some RPers for reasons that - although morally wrong - are logical and not going to disappear.

So if you're planning to add something special to a certain tavern or something along those lines, I'd highly recommend using the Jolly Boar instead. I really think people'd find that a lot better than when the Rising Sun gets whatever you're planning.

Or do both. Both is best.
