Nice discussion, guys. I'm happy to see such good ideas. Next,
-What Makes A Name Cool
A bit more applicable to names in general but nonetheless it most certainly entails the names of the areas of our lovely world.
So. You've just acquired your POL (Player Owned Land, an inclusive catch-all). You, of course, decide on the name first and it can't be 'Varrock' this time because it's a pile of varrocks now because you fucking razed it during your coup so horribly that Lord Pyro's Forinthry looks better. Good job. You should choose a strong name because of that. Unfortunately you couldn't choose 'Dharok' because that's the name of a canonical character because he's from Varrock and Dharok rhymes with Varrock and so that's a pretty good name. It's not a territory name, though, so don't worry about all that. Maybe you could name is Darrock and get away with it. The hard D and 'rock' make anything name sound tough, especially put together. It's even really topical because all of your POL members probably wear Dharok's or some variety of Barrows. So, remember, if you raze Varrock, you should rename it to something stronger.
Now before we get any further (i'll be posting more later don't worry) you also need to get your pronunciation right - you're likely on the west side of the pond and listen a lot to great figures like Anita Sarkeesian and Beyonce but they're American and Jagex is English and RuneScape is written in English rather than American. You've heard a lot of words wrong, likely. You could take a look at the pronunciation guide for RuneScape, or just flip your TV that's always on to help keep you company to BBC so you can listen to some proper Englishing. Doctor Who is actually having its first female Doctor next season so it's shaping up to be the best season yet.
After you've listened to some proper vocal cords for a while, I'll post the next lesson.
Save yourself.
Savior self.
