Nodon
By Titania Renderra
((This journal's ink is destroyed in places. Convienently where it would be unsuited for the forums. It is denotated with -D- ))

Entry XX1

We've been at this -D- for over six -D- months now. What the -D- I hate reading dates in journals. Going to stop rereading this -D-

War is going south fast. Nodon got a new siege engine, and it sent a blast of fire that killed Tarannis, outright. Poor -D- didn't have a chance to finish his soup at camp.

Deimos and Phobos got a vendetta on it now, can't blame them either after what it did to their dad. They went with Corinna Spears and Annika Tepes, hopefully to get that cannon out.

Little Sister Liaden is doing fine at the medical area. Just glad Ashlynn isn't here. Keeping her from the fight would be too hard.

Entry XX2

Yeah that -D- went to plan. Deimos and Phobos went dark, and Alcides ordered from the command post to retrieve them. Their torqs didn't trigger safety teleports. Took Amber, this artist named Daku, Boyer, and a water mage.

Nodon were near impossible to stealth past with a group this big, but we found Deimos at death's door. His left arm is gone. Phobos' eyes were filled with shrapnel, taking vision in his one good eye.

No sign of Corina or Annika, but that -D- is my priority. We went through too much against the -D- Scaravians for me to leave her or her mom behind.

Entry XX3

Surrounded by Chthonians, at the -D- Nodon front. If I didn't know my mom had the breach covered writing this, figured she was dead.

-D- Infernus, I think I get why Granny Thalia hated these -D- things now. Annika and Corina helped me hold off the Demons, and I shoved an earth spike in that siege equipment. Nodon -D- will know what hit them, but -D- if I care.

Glacor
By Ekaterina Renderra

Entry XX2

Time to write is sparing. The war has led to me holding the barrier. We're in the presence of some of the finest Magi of all time. Ariane, Charos, Lord Cadarn, Helwyr, Baxtorian, Mahjarrat, and even Azzanadra, the new god.

My aunt Agrona has made herself known for the first time in years, taking her crystalline spells and Elven Druidry to the front in turn.

Entry XX3

My brother Alcides continues logistics for runes and food. The Zamorakians have pulled from the front, and Azzanadra insists we can't hold the Arch Glacor back from the Aquaduct any longer.

The blizzard coming is pinning me down, all my wards and divination can't hold. But now, through the snow? I can see glimpses of a large Dragonwolf. Is it you? Do you return to us now, as the world enters a new time of need?

Entry XX4

The Glacors held us down, but Alcides sent me a distress signal. He was dying. Demons were targetting our forces, having left through the breach.

Eventually, they just stopped. My eyes looked, even as we pulled back in retreat. I knew it for sure, now. It was Brimstone.

She was here, and we would be fine.

Croesus
by Hailey Renderra-Nocte

Entry XX1

I am all but prepared to fight here. I've never been a fighter, not as much as some of my cousins, but I can hunt. I can chop. I know my plants and fungi, and I know the dead.

That is the secret to Croesus. We clean an infestation, before it cleans us.

Entry XX2

Brimstone is aiding Gorvek. His fire can burn, but not from the sky. As Croesus grows into the graveyard, any advantage helps. Does that mean she's here, if Brimstone is?

Entry XX3

I was dying. The Fungus got me with sticky spores, as the rest of my team systematically went down. Antoni died next to me, his mask to keep the spores out down. He had to drink our restore potions. I had mine in needles, but he was already out.

I almost gave up, before he came. The Doctor.

Entry XX4

Doctor Amalarik, as I know now. He cleansed the spores from me, but I've taken some severe acid burns in turn.

Knowing it was Zarosians who made this fungus doesn't surprise me. The more I learn of it, the more I despise its creators. Is this what endless war drives us towards? Weapons capable of destroying whole cities without a sword being unsheathed?

The inevitablity that a weapon like this could be made again makes my skin crawl, even the parts that lost sensation.

Breach
by Ria Renderra

Entry XX1
I couldn't bring myself to kill the Nodon, anymore. Not knowing what Skethsara informed me of. I had to leave the front, and frankly struggled against the Glacors. My fighting style was not optimal for them.

But now, the Guards say the Forum district where the Tzekhaar set up hosts a whole new threat. Demons. Those? Those I could fight. I put my word in with Alcides, I am moving to the Abyssal Breach.

Entry XX2
That escalated. I brought a small party alongside me of Aethyra Bowmen. We were going to entrench ourselves, and then keep up holding the breach. That was, until the Savages came. They seemed predisposed to strike at us, and with my wounds I couldn't move far. I barricaded myself in the Secretary's office. Wish I could read Infernal, would give me something other than writing to pass the time.

I hope these rations hold out. Still hate the taste of Valluta hardtack.

Entry XX3
Something escaped the breach. It's the Sixth Legion.
Airlea couldn't hold them back at the door, but she said her allies came to her aid from the Tzekhaar front.

The Wilderness has spoken; They are the answer.

Tzekhaar
By Airlea Aegea ''Aggie Iron'' Renderra

Entry XX1
I swore to protect my people at all costs. I swore to them as Gaiaximus, that we would never face extinction again as a culture. Skethsara changed that. She forced us to be militant. I may have looked the part of the Kronesian, but she had the power.

Now the Paxae Proelli forces enemies to our gates. Now we stood with the Tzekhaar nearly levelling our once-great city of Zanthran, dedicated to the Moon.

I failed. I don't know if these Rock-beasts feel pain, but I swear on the Winged Lords I will make them try.

Entry XX2
I have made a few acquantances at the Tzekhaar front. A local Goblin priest by the name of Snotfoot, who lives within Aethyra of all places. He is better spoken than most, and as it is seems to have been... Educated?

There is also Sadia Marcato. We seem to get along as best we could, but I do not think this would work if she knew my story. She is curious. She can hear the Asgarnian and Ashland accents in my voice.

I turn to help my Aunt Ria, however briefly with the abyssal breach. I suppose it was inevitable my family would discover my presence, but I refuse to leave her to die.

Entry XX3

Three words I did not expect to hear again. "Tu prathos Promitarre!"

The Prometheans came, and now stand with me at the Tzekhaar front. They await my orders, even after I relinquished the title of Gaiaximus.

I was not worthy. I still am not worthy. But the Wilderness has spoken. We remain the answer.

Entry XX4

The situation grows more dire. Probing parties by the Tzekhaar have forced us to call more allies, and more come to fill in.

The Dominus has come, as well. We lost our Zamorakian allies, only to scramble.

The presence of a large Dragonwolf at the Croesus front has capitvated many Worshipper's attention. I know better.

Much changed very quickly. The Promethean Elite stood with me, as tension hung in the area. The Harbinger Summer Dell'oro Ak'Artemisian challenged the Tzekhaar, openly. Tzekhaar-Hok responded, by sending up his worse.

A bunch of Tzekhaar followed. We were getting overwhelmed, and it showed. However, we held strong, and the Tzekhaar were forced to release their next monster.

Tzek'Xil-Kih'haar, they called it. A large phoenix-like Tzekhaar, probably once a Phoenix reborn in Sacred Lava. I didn't get the chance to fight it.

Cassia ambushed me. Her Sixth Legion goons killed Alcides, and she was determined to scrub the Renderra line before the Elder Gods could, pushing her to act now. I had to fight with all I could, but I made her eject us both from the Shadow Realm.

I let my allies handle her. The other demons were mine. The Prometheans joined me, and I felt the rush of battle swoon over me. I swung Edict in whirls and lunges, piercing, hacking, slashing.

By the time I was done, my armour was caked in Ichor and demonic ash. Some stopped, simply to look at how I moved in the fray. One Renderra Armsman later said I looked like Thalia did in the siege of 164.

I was formally acknowledged by my family at the battlefield. As Thalia put it, after her arrival, I've lived as a Renderra and a Promethean, and now if I died, I'd be remembered as a Renderra and a Promethean.

I got to bear witness to Thalia's own fighting. And beyond that, the sheer might of Saradomin and Armadyl unburdened by the Eggs. It was awe-striking. This is the power of gods. This is why my people called them False Idols.

This is why they would eventually need to stay back, and away from our influence. I saw Skethsara fight. This was an entirely different level.

Falador Defense (Part 1) Recap

The Renderra Forces aided in a defense of Falador from the ongoing Demon threat. Leading the charge against the Artisan workshop was Luxuria , the Dark Fury of Lust. She brought Demons from above in attempt to cripple Saradomin's weapon production, though she only truly managed to cripple Captain Aaida of the Sapphire Knights, an Imp Assassin's Sword Dagger finding its way into her knee.

The Workshop's cannons were activated, forcing the Demons away, though fire from Falador park drew the focus of the crowd. Pyrefiends and Icefiends locked down the area that was being used as an impromptu medical station, Liaden Renderra trying to stop the Demon who led the fiends in. Through quick thinking from Torvi Aren, Daina Amore, Dominus Jeoffrey Sicarius, and 'Leela Nauntier,' the Icefiends were melted, the fire weakened by water, and that opened the door for allied fairies from Zanaris to rush onto the scene, forcing rain and storms to the area for the fire to stop. Liaden, seizing the moment of the storm, sent Zarin's ascension lightning spell crashing down onto the Demon, shattering Vor'Sla the Fiend Master 's presence.

Even still, the city was shaking as war continued, a great ball of fire blasting the gates of Falador open.

Jeoffrey started on the entourage, the cultists recognizing him, and some running as soon as they saw him. Ophelia Ak'Promitarre lept from the Faladian gate, taking out archers from the back of the siege beast, using her heavy, dragon claws, before deciding "Imma pet it" and going right for the source of the Siege Beast's fire generation, claw first. Leela summoned a gnomish shillelagh that in turn, created a total of 27 slayer darts, flying for the creature's openings. With Jeo taking out the main threat to Eudoxia, and the darts and claws freezing the beast down... It was only a matter of time before the beast was a sitting target for Eudoxia's "Lance of Saradomin" spell, a super-charged Saradomin Strike flying for the beast head on from her own spear.

The war isn't over, and Falador is far from safe. But with Taverley and the Soulwood confirmed to be lesser targets of the Demon's ire, Renderra forces are refocusing on Falador and Burthorpe en masse.
