We're just letting you know about it, since the Sage wouldn't be able to do his preachings in the pious Kingdoms. :)

If you want to do RP regarding it, I'm sure that can be arranged.

In response to the 'Edict V' proclaimed by the Church of Saradomin, as well as acts within the Kingdom of Misthalin, a new set of military orders are in need of issuing. Many of these will affect the general populace, but is for their safety.

The Destruction of the Church of Saradomin in Varrock
Seen as an attack of terror, many innocent citizens were killed in the burning of the church. As a result, the Arrav Battalion within and around Varrock is in acting some changes for the safety of the citizens and to prevent future incidents.

Part 1: A curfew will be established within the city of Varrock. All citizens will be expected to be indoors after this time, or will be detained by the guards.

Part 2: Patrols within Varrock will be doubled, in an effort to maintain order and prevent future escalations.

The 'Edicts V'
Clearly outlined within the Edicts are two crucial bits of information. The continued protests against the Lansing family, a motive; and the call for an army to form on the boarder of our great Kingdom, a solution. These acts in unison are seen as hostile and a possible threat to the security of Misthalin.

Part 1: The Lum Battalion will move the main bulk of it's forces to Draynor Village, where it can watch and prepare for any attacks from this force.

Part 2: In light of this new threat, and the increased security in Varrock, a detachment of the Honor Guard will be sent to the Draynor-Lumbridge area to aid in security and bolster the forces.

Should officials come to arrest the Sage, he'd teleport away, because forum posts.

Well, the way I was gonna about it was more, the Sage probably is aware it's a bad idea;

But if not, well, I'll rp it. It's fine that he tele'd off, he just wouldn't get much of an ear without the knights giving him ****.

(I don't want you having one char arresting the other!)

Something I forgot to post:

Unless opposed, Church Officials, armed Hospitallers but only wearing light, leather armour, would have moved to secure the site of the burned down Church. They were inconspicuously dressed, and numbered five.

Once at the Church, they would attempt to start clearing the rubble - the burnt beams, smashed glass and collapsed roof, and salvage any church aritfacts that hadn't been looted.

(Nick, Kieran, babes, if we're on tomorrow at the same time I'd like to RP this - the post is merely prelude and notification of intent)

Deal. Drop us a PM whenever, though we apparently have some guy wanting a skirmish in a village or something along those lines so it all depends on the time etc. This rp is priority tho'.
The Capfather sends his regards.

Tomorrow's probably best for me. I have a thing to go to tonight, then I have a backlog of RP to get done.

And****: expulsion of the Inquisition, I'll get around to that when I can. It's not that I'm ignoring it, or that they're refusing to officially leave, I just haven't had time to do things with respect that.

On a cold night amid the stillness of the city of Varrock, two guards were on the patrol in the slum area of the city. Wearily, the first stretched, having been on duty for several hours up until this point. The second nudged him and said, "Tired already? Come on, buddy nothing has even happened and nothing will unless someone is stupid enough to disturb the peace."

His hearty laugh was interrupted by a pillar of fire and smoke the rocked the city, shattering glass and deafening those who happened to live close to it. The two guards' gazes snapped to each other in horror before they ran as fast as they could to the site of the explosion, an older looking building that one recognized as the Zamorakian church.

Once helped arrived and the flames were doused, guards entered the building cautiously. Many gagged and almost vomited as they came upon the sight of a a building painted with gore all over the remnants of the walls and pillars. The altar to the god Zamorak had specifically been desecrated, the charred corpse of what seemed to be a priestess having been impaled upon the blackened stone. Yet, the most horrifying aspect to many of the guards were the Saradomin symbols meticulously and ceremonially placed around the church and the body. Barely able to be seen because of the charred skin around the priestess's chest was one word scratched deep into her with a knife: HERETIC .
