This is a Godless rp group, based of the Faction, the Godless, making this ic The Godless Faction it self. This is meant to be a Private, and public rp group, all are welcome as well.

Overview:

This is a Godless rp group based off the Godless Faction Jagex made for those who agree with Guthix in a world with out gods. We are a selective role-playing group that focuses any where in Runescape. We acknowledge NPC's and RuneScape's current lore, meaning we acknowledge founders of this faction which is Kara-Meir and the leader B***n (the Druid). A application is not required but recommended, which can be found on page 3.

History


The Godless are an organisation founded shortly after the end of the Fifth Age by a former druid. Their main philosophy is that they do not want gods on Gielinor, and they state their goals as a desire to defend Gielinor from the gods while protecting the innocent. Their ideas resemble what the god of balance, Guthix, wished for. Although they may follow some of his teachings, this faction is not Guthixian in nature, although some may be former Guthixians. The name was an idea of Kara-Meir, who suggested it instead of "The Antitheists".

The Godless are a faction within Gielinor that offer warnings about the negative roles of gods upon society. They believe that the God Wars are pointless from a mortal perspective and that we are better off without the gods. They believe that we should find our own way to protect ourselves from the power of the gods, not take power from one so as to protect from another.

The Godless faction has creatures from all over Gielinor who wish to be free of the gods. According to Book of the Gods even some demons are willing to join their cause and fight for freedom

The Godless Motto:
"What have they given us? War, death and destruction, all for their own gain. It is time we take back the reins and make our own destiny."

Uniforms


Given the very nature of the Godless and how the movement operates there has never been a need or reason to create and enforce any kind of uniform amongst agents. An agent's equipment is seen as a personal matter and what they carry is ultimately determined by them, This being the case the attire of each member is as diverse as the movement itself. However not all operations are the same and when the need arises, such as a large battle, equipment can be provided to those on the field. For short, You can wear anything you like, unlike the Gods of RuneScape, the Godless have no defining uniform.

Role-Playing Information.


Everything that is needed for In-character must be done in Role-playing, for example, if any new location we get, like another cave for an hideout, and it is set up in defensive method, it must be done in Role-playing wise.

The group was once again made into a clan. Each Role-play will be made once or twice a week, minor role-play like meet ups or training can be done any other day of the week. Guests are allowed to join the clan as Guests, and if wish as full members. Note that we are a Public Role-playing group and will role-play with any group in world 42, but note that we, as Godless will not interfere in wars that are economics, diplomatic or kingdom ruling reason. Unless there is a religious reason involved, such as one group wants to rule a kingdom because of its religion, we will interfere.

Please note that no matter what rank you are on, if you're character does not have a valid reason to be there, this includes those who believe by just being there at the same time for no reason allows the character into a plot explain, plot goes as following in clan chat or through outside speaking you're informed there will be a "secret" meeting your character happens to be on the other side of Gielinor, it is invalid to just appear out of nowhere. when it is clear that you cannot make it. This includes outside parties as well.

Ranking System


Unlike most organization on Gielinor, the Godless has their own unique ranking system that allows members to know who's in a higher position. This list below will explain how each rank works with the out of character clan ranking system. Please note that once you join with one character, your ooc rank is what your main character is, after that any new character will require to be recruit and will be ranked up by the Exarch.

Recruits: Recruits in role-play are recruits in the clan ranking system. To get promoted in a more higher rank, one must be active in role-play, and prove that their character can be promoted, this goes for all ranks.

Agents: : Agents are those who reached the rank of Corporal in the clan ranking system, and remain that way until they are promoted to Lieutenant.

Specialist: Specialist are those who reached Lieutenant in the clan ranking system, and stay that way until they are promoted to General.

Senior Agent: Senior Agent are those who reached General in the clan ranking system and stay that way until they are promoted to Organiser. This rank is the last rank given to members of the faction.

Strategos +: Strategos is an individual who reached Organiser, this Individual remains as this until he needs to replace the next rank ahead. This rank, like the Taxiarch, and Exarch are allowed to be deputy owner, if proven worthy.

Note :Those who are just aligned to the faction, and have not become an active paying member, would be either guests, or adventurers characters that would be used once in a blue moon. They are not given ranks or payment at all. This also includes access to the Godless Hall H.Q.

Recruit:
Recruits are the newest members of the Godless and form a large pool of talent of which the movement can draw upon and refine to it's needs. Given that any individuals may join the Godless at any point in their life, the rank of recruit does not mean that one is inexperienced or undergoing some kind of apprenticeship under a more senior member. Recruits advance to becoming agents of the Godless once they have shown that they can be a trusted and reliable asset to the movement as a whole.

Agent:
The most numerous rank that forms the backbone of any operation that the Godless may undertake. Agents of the Godless are as varied as the fish in the sea with each having their own reason for joining the movement, and have proven themselves capable of furthering the goals of the movement as a whole threw one way or another.

Ranks part 2


Specialist:
A rare rank amongst the Godless, specialist are individuals whose talents make them uniquely qualified to handle certain task that the average agent would not normally be able to perform. While the rank is technically senior to an agent a specialist is normally tasked with specific jobs rather than the more general tasks an agent might perform. This is most often the case when concerning medical staff, however certain mages, diviners, and inventors could also be make Specialists.

Senior Agent
: A Senior Agent is an individual who has shown to posses skills in leadership and has been with the Godless for a considerable amount of time. Senior Agents are the ones who take command of groups of agents on operation. They are expected to be able to keep a level head and make rash decisions even in the face of great danger. This does not have to mean that a Senior Agent is a master of combat or their craft, they are chosen based on one's merit to delegate and lead ensuring that no operation falls apart.

Special Ranks


Strategos
: The rank of Strategos is more of a honorific than a rank, in terms of seniority. The Strategos is the same as a Taxiarch, however, they are charged with the upkeep of The Godless Hall. They lead the guards of the Hall as well as the defense of Tuska, other locations that are under the faction's order or control, and the protection of B.i.e.h.n himself.

Taxiarch
: A Taxiarch is a Godless Agent who oversees all operations within a certain area of RuneScape. They are the ones in charge of furthering the goals of the movement as a whole rather than individual missions and operations. Largely independent, a Taxiarch is expected to provide for their agents within their area of operation, and determine how to best utilize the resources of said region.

Exarch
: The Senior most Field Agent of the Godless, the Exarch is tasked with running and coordinating the movement as a whole. The Exarch is second only to B.i.e.h.n himself and receives orders directly from him. As the senior most agent the Exarch is expected to keep the Taxiarch and Strategos in line and direct them on their greater tasks. This being the case the Exarch can take command of any operation the Godless may be undertaking at any point in time.
