The Royal Family


The royal family consists only of the children of Lord Pyro at this time.


Lord Bane, the eldest son of Lord Pyro, now deceased.

Prince Matthew, the youngest and most favored of Lord Pyro's children has been given the responsibility of commanding the Blood Guard, the elite fighting force dedicated to the protection of the royal family and the Ruling Council. Prince Matthew is now engaged to Eva Tang.

Princess Crimson, a human adopted by Lord Pyro following the disappearance of her father. She has since disappeared herself.

Princess Blossom, the daughter of Princess Crimson

There is a fourth member of the family who's identity remains a mystery. During the events that began his exile Lord Pyro was forced to abandon his only daughter while she was only a baby, which long became the single greatest regret in his life. Whoever and wherever this female mahjarrat might be she is Lord Pyro's eldest child and probably the most powerful.

High General


Simply put this man is responsible for maintaining and commanding the standing army of Zamorak's Union and advising on all military matters. He will usually spend most of his time in the north or central regions, and have full access to all Union intelligence. While officially holding equal rank to any member of the ruling council the High General is sometimes considered to be the second most powerful man in the kingdom.


Battlefield Commander


The Battlefield Commander is a unique role which is only ever filled during times of war. During a campaign it may be decided to elect a single representative to take command of the entire war effort, this man can still be removed on the order of the King but otherwise holds absolute authority over all military matters until the conflict has been resolved. The only people remembered to have held this position within the Union are Aztarwyn and Aura Angelus.

Admiral


The duties of the admiral are to take charge of all ships and fleets controlled by the Union. At the moment the Union is in control of two main areas from which to draw ships, the main Union shipyards on the coast of Forinthry and a secondary but significant base known as Feron Island, controlled by a subsidiary of the Union designed to enable trade with other regions but also possessed of a substantial fleet of ships of it's own. One of the things that makes the union fleet stand out is the "fire ships", powerful flagships capable of spraying a very flammable liquid over the decks of enemy ships when engaging at close quarters. The other being a large sea platform, designed to house large numbers of mortars and gliders.

Lord Protector


A position of great honor given only to someone trusted with the defense of the realm. It is the duties of the Lord Protector to keep out any and all foreign invaders and to keep the common law. To this end the Lord Protector is given command of the wall of forts at the southern edge of the kingdom, as well as a force of guards that can be used to hunt down known law breakers.


Master of Coin


As the name suggests this man is charged with looking after the nation treasury and brining more gold to it by any means. The master of coin has the authority to broker trade agreements on behalf of the king and holds monthly meetings with the King to ensure the coffers continue to overflow.

Head of Foreign Policy


Many would describe this man as the most cunning individual in the kingdom, expected to be up to date with all the players of the game and any intrigues they might be involved with. He has substantial access to the reports of the Z.I.I. by is also expected to remain and active figure in the social events of the other kingdoms. His duties are to advise the King on all matters of state that might affect or be influenced by the other kingdoms or noble houses.


Events Writer


An OOC position, the holder of which will be considered part of the admin team with all the same privileges as any other. His job is to think up new plotlines and events to run in the POK to ensure it remains active at all times.

High Court Mage


The position of High Court Mage is an extremely respected one in a kingdom that is in many respects ruled and maintained by magic. The High Court Mage is one of the most powerful mages in the kingdom and indeed the world and is expected to bring that power to bare for the good of the realm.


High Court Necromancer


Possibly one of the most dangerous figures in court it is known that the High Court Necromancer has achieved this position because he knows more of the darker magical arts than virtually any man alive, if indeed he is still alive. It is not known which of the mages on the ruling council would win in an open fight but generally assumed that while the High Court Mage may be more powerful the necromancer possesses deadlier tricks.
