Hey, i'm interested in applying and joining I've got a few questions though:

I) My Vamyp** Lore/Morytania lore is pretty lacking, aside from the the guide you've linked to are there any suggested quests to do so I can get full access to the map and lore?

II) I've got a few ideas in mind for a Vampyre character, would it at all be unusual for a Vampyre to practice Necromancy?

III) Let's say I apply for multiple characters, are there any particular kind of characters that are needed for future Roleplay or that you guys are lacking?

I. If you head onto the Runescape Wikia, there's a page just full of Vampyre information. Also, the Runescape Roleplaying Wikia has a page that's dedicated to Vampyres as well. The best source of lore, however, is the Myreque quest-line beginning officially with In Search of the Myreque.

II. The most old and powerful of Vampyres are generally associated as those who practice Necromancy, though of all places to practice it, the best place would probably be Morytania.

III. Younger Vampyres are something we're starting to run short of if that answers your question!

Character Name: Vlad von Sangreinesti

Stage of Development J**inate

Religious Views: Irreligious, may lean towards Sliske, Self-worship or Zamorak (the lore on what Vampyres believe in is a bit vague).

Occupation: Necromancer.

Social Class: Lol nope.

Appearance: Standing at 5'10 (I assume this is average for Vampyres) with pale skin Vlad is a menacing figure. He has the average looks of any other vampyre in their vampyric form: dark red eyes, and no noteworthy facial features that set him apart. In human form, he is better looking typically choosing the form of a man in his twenties, clean shaven with longer dark hair.

In terms of outfits, he is typically seen in either robes or armour depending on the occasion or the danger at hand. Interestingly enough he wields a ******* sword preferring to hack and destroy his opponents using his sword and magic then his claws, using a sword keeps him at a safer distance from those who might wield silver weapons and it is in his words "Massacring in a civilised manner"

Personality: Vlad is a cold, hateful individual. He loathes werewolves and many other Vampyres and has no love for his former human kind. He is goal driven and a scheming individual willing to backstab and overcome anyone to meet his goals as well as any sacrifice.

Other Information: It's been almost a long time since I made an application so forgive me for its rustiness and it's also my first Vampyre so criticism and corrections are more than welcome.

Joining or Guesting in the CC?: Depends on how fast you or Camelot gets to me.

Biography:

Born in a minor house of Pure-blooded Vampyres Vlad has been a dedicated practioner of the dark arts, particularly Necromancy (he is able to use blood magic, though not nearly as well as his necromancy). He grew up isolated from the rest of society for many of his early years with his father acting his mentor in the realm of politics, magic and the lessons of life. His early years were not kind to him but they did manage to instill a sense of pride in himself and a sense of destiny that he was meant to be more then some grunt for a Vyrelord like his father. Instead he grew to have an ambition of ascending the ranks and becoming one of the most powerful Vampyres in Gie*nor.

He also inheritated many of his fathers traits such as a contempt for other races and underlings. A reckless and cruel sense of ambition and the notion that everything is worthy of sacrafice if it furthers oneself. It wasn't until reaching the end of his Juvenile years that his father took him out of the shadows and into the theoretical light of society, there he was socialized into Vampyre society and lesser court intrigues.

However, the ambition his father taught him got his father into trouble. In a gamble to ascend themselves into a new social class his father was killed in his own intrigues leaving his son to flee into hiding for a brief period of time. Once the contraversy died down and the suspected killers were themselves killed in another intrigue Vlad decided to return and finally set his plans into motion.

Again, I recognize this isn't the greatest story ever written, i'm still trying to figure out being a Vampyre. The Order of Light (W41)
