I was thinking of playing some kind of demon antagonist maybe a human idk
What can I say scorpions sting why would you pick me up then if not too get stung
Thank you Jakarios, you've been the first to apply and would be happy to talk about the specifics about your character and to discuss what you expect in more detail.
Diablos, in-game cosmetics are more of a suggestion than requirement. for the sake of clarity, the "beret" the enlistees wear can easily be obtained in just a few games of any given minigame. The Grey Tricorn is more complicated as you need "pieces of eight" which are only obtained via playing the Trouble Brewing minigame. The Glaive in the knight image is a limited-time event cosmetic.
I do not expect people to easily reach a CO rank quickly. If they're dedicated to roleplaying for a considerable amount of time, I'm more than happy to help in getting the required 50 pieces of eight for said tricorn. The Abyssal Knight armour itself is a reward from the "Shattered Worlds" minigame and is fairly easy to obtain with decent combat stats.
Also, It isn't worth attacking people who are acknowledging the thread's existance. Whilst I understand it's frustrating to see people just say "acknowledged, I
may
roleplay in this group", I am not expecting them to follow up with said claim until contact is made.
As for the last post. The purpose of the Order of the Abyssal Knights is to primarily keep an eye on the portal to the shattered worlds, as well as "roaming" to identify, destroy or contain anomalies. As such, a demon or human would not fall under as being anomalous. Demons are explained as infernal beings, usually from Infernus, whilst humans are... well, human. They may have some magical power, though it would not be considered anomalous unless it was incredibly distinct or inexplicable.
I have mentioned that the Knights remain as neutral as possible unless they are provoked. If a human or demon did attack a contingent of knights or Fort Suture itself, they would defend themselves with whatever are

I decided to keep a journal whilst I’m here. Not much time to write though, we basically have no down-time except the half hour before lights out or if you’re awake before wake-up call. So in short, I won’t get to write in this often, but I’m still a little wired from earlier, so I thought I’d jot this down.
It was rough. We all marched from Draynor Village by an escort of about 6 knights through the swamp, all the way to Fort Suture. I remember seeing it up-close for the first time. It truly looked like a fort, but it almost seemed… Intimidating? I imagine criminals fleeing to join the Order probably would compare a prison to Fort Suture.
We eventually arrived, then another knight, atop battlements, stated for us “Form a vertical line, possessions in rucksack, then follow the instructors. You’ll know when you see them…”, with a little hint of what was to come in his voice.
I can barely remember what happened. I saw these massive fellows, barking and yelling at anyone who didn’t follow orders to a T. Hell one guy stepped slightly out of line literally and 2 “Drill Sergeants” were on him like rabid dogs, demeaning him and so on. Then we bounced all over the place. If you weren’t being interviewed, given ID, being designated bunks, being given a task or lead around the general layout of the fort, you were likely either being told to “Get the shit out of your eyes and ears and listen!” or being screamed at for some infraction and told to do a number of push ups. Too bad it was drizzling that day, at least we were issued our uniforms after that time.
I just did as told with “Yes Drill Sergeant!” tacked at the end where needed, and here I am now, a full-on enlistee. The interviewers asked why I kept a quill and book, but I mentioned that I found it “mentally grounding” to retain information by writing about it. That is no lie though and they seemed content.
Anyways, lights out. Until next time.

Last thing I heard last night from the Drill was “night night little acorns”. I was confused initially, but sleep was stronger than curiosity. Felt like a flash before a Drill came in and started smacking some metal items together like a alarm clock, alongside “Get to your spot beside your rack!” and I almost tripped at how fast I responded.
We were briefed that we’d be meeting the Commander of The Abyssal Knights after breakfast and that we’d eat as cautiously as possible to prevent spillage on our new uniform. He also went on to elaborate that if the term “Acorn” was meant, it was slang for new enlistee’s because of the acronym of the Order being “OAK”.
Guy the rack across mine let out a little snort of humour before the Drill started on him. Fella became a clown instead of the Drill. Regardless, it was humorous but I didn’t dare let it show. He then told us to dress, how our beret be placed and “poses of attention”.
Ate in the mess hall and a chap sat next to me. Didn't know him, but apparently he’s the guy who’s on the top bunk of the rack I was in. Ian. He seems nice enough. I must’ve been too hurried yesterday to even try to “make friends”. I imagine that doesn’t really happen until you’re a good week or so. We spoke as we ate and we joked about not dirtying our new, green uniforms. By the time we’d finished, what we thought were commanding officers - a Captain I believe - came in and loudly stated for us to get to the “classroom” and be seated until the Commander came in, to which we’d stand at attention.
It was obvious then when we saw an old man with a CO’s uniform and eyepatch that he was Kenton Decarte, we all stood, before being dismissed to sit.
He told us of the values we should hold in high regard; respect, honour, accountability, courage. As well as a flavourful speech about our future duties. As far as I was concerned, it was what I’d joined to do, so I took it to heart.
Lights out.
