I really wonder how this just-over-a-month-old account has 400m cash plus enough for numerous bonds for namechange unless they're dropping $100-$150, except they're apparently australian so that's even MORE. But uh, wow. I know that land-purchasing has been a meme for a while, with people even trying to bait Pyro to buy kingdoms from them for GP, but it actually happened? I see that our community's collective PTSD regarding yonder days has ensured that we've forgotten W42's ancient practice of OOC gold for stuff to happen in RP (notably kidnapping characters for OOC gold ransoms). As much as I'd like to say that I'm shocked that these things are still going on - particularly with POKs, I'm really not surprised at all. It's by no means a new practice but it's a bummer to see that its randomly made a resurgence again.

I think it might be time for a shift away from POK RP and if people want to do POK stuff, they could just RP as high end diplomats within xyz kingdom, with the actual huge bigwig overseers still in place (notably the royals). That means that landclaims will no longer be an issue, and all of these IC/OOC problems of people not getting along can just be rationalized as internal affairs cut throating which it essentially is. I am going to break your arm so that the bone juts out and then I will stab you to death with your own insides. I will win this chess game, is what I am saying.

Yep! I'd like this a lot.

Fingers crossed. I lost 98% of my interest in W42 because the biggest focus was POKs that I wasn't interested in.
