Name: Doctor Thomas Ward

Gender: Male

Race: Chimera

Lineage: Jumbled up and unidentifiable.

Age: 45

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Religion: Zamorakian

Grace/Racial Powers: While he isn’t Graced, Doctor Ward has experimented on himself to extensive lengths. The experiments introduced different genetics into his body to different effects.

Dragon: Fire breath, durable skin

Werewolf: Enhanced senses and strength, retractable claws

Vampyre: Thermal vision, glowing red eyes, enhanced speed

Elf: Agility, caused his ears to gain a slight point to them

Icyene: Increases his height and strength/speed even further and allows for a resistance
to the holy objects that his other genetic modifications gave him a weakness to

Demon: Gives him access to an ability to control his enhanced senses, and deform his body slightly.

Talents/Skills: A master scientist and thanks to his modifications he is an expert fighter.

Weapons/Specialized Tools: He doesn’t use any weapons, as he believes himself above them now.

Weaknesses: He is overconfident in his abilities and believes himself to be the pinnacle of scientific creation. He has not, however, compensated for a weakness to silver, and is therefore incredibly weak to it.

Appearance: Black hair, glowing red eyes. He has a strong, athletic build and stands at about 6’7” His experiments have corrupted his appearance slightly. His lycanthrope genes don’t allow him to transform fully, but only into a partial form which warps his appearance to a grayer, batlike form (from his vampyric genetics) with glowing reptilian eyes (from his draconic genes) sideburns and wolf fangs.

Brief History: Unknown, but he somehow came to found the mysterious scientific coalition known as Chimera.

Notes on Echo religious beliefs:

With the Echoes, age corresponds with respect. The oldest of the Echoes, the Death Echoes, are currently seen as gods. This is because every time the universe is reset, the weakest of the Echoes are removed with it. As a result, being as ancient as the Death Echoes is akin to being godlike. It should be noted that Death Echoes can theoretically take on the Elder Gods, and stand a chance. The Time Echo should also be mentioned. This Echo came in the same generation as the Death Echoes, and so far, there have been no others like it.

Tiers of Echoes in Order of Age:

Death Echoes: 5

Fire Echoes: 23

Water Echoes: 45

Soul Echoes: 67

Nature Echoes: Unknown

Ice Echoes: Unknown

Time Echoes: 1

Earth Echoes: Unknown

Cosmic Echoes: Unknown

Law Echoes: Unknown

Blood Echoes: Unknown

Shadow Echoes: Unknown

Name of Race: Chimera

Life Expectancy: Varies

Where did they come from?: Genetic experimentation

When did they arrive on Gielinor?: The most basic ones were created many centuries ago, but most recently have received an increase due to the work of Chimera Labs.

Physical Description: Varies, usually a corrupted version of their original race.

Current State of Population: Either under the control of Chimera or spread out in hiding.

Grace-susceptible?: Yes.

Racial Abilities: Depends on the races that are genetically fused with them.

Weaknesses: Depends on the races that are genetically fused with them, however, they generally all begin to gain a sort of uncontrollable hunger for power that can lead to dangerous consequences.

Brief History: The first chimeras were created in the God Wars by followers of Zaros, though most of their early work would fail shortly after creation, resulting in the death of their experiment. The first successful chimera, Castor, was originally a simple farmhand who was plucked from his home by the Zarosian Cult known as the Gemini. The Gemini fused the DNA of ourgs, Imcando dwarves, lions, Icyene, Chthonians, werewolves, aviantese, and even their own Mahjarrat commander, Tyndareus. Castor was both powerful and intelligent, and soon began to become a menace in the following battles. Several unexplainable Zarosian victories followed, as well as the Gemini Cult creating even more chimera with similar mixes. However, Castor grew hungry for even more power, and began murdering his brethren and using his Chthonian genetics to absorb their power, gaining more and more power for himself.

He eventually returned to the Gemini Cult’s headquarters and slaughtered them all, gaining even more power before finally coming to Tyndareus himself. Castor, with the power of several chimera and an entire cult of capable scientists and mages behind him, in addition to his base power and raw intelligence, was more than a match for Tyndareus and destroyed him in open combat. The notes on creating chimeras were lost in this brutal massacre of their original creators, and Castor went off to places unknown. A few of the original chimera have survived, but live in fear of Castor coming to end them and so hide themselves amongst society. In the year 149 of the Fifth Age, Doctor Thomas Ward, a young scientist who had been studying ancient ruins with a group of adventurers, happened upon the ancient laboratories of the Gemini Cult. It was here he found a way to create chimeras. However, the party was attacked by Castor himself, who had used magic to monitor the ancient lab to make sure no one ever found the secret to creating chimeras. Castor eliminated the party with ease, but Thomas escaped with the files. As he read through them, he made a realization that the man who had attacked them had to have been the rogue chimera Castor, and also figured out that the Gemini Cult had never accounted for a weakness.

He lured Castor to himself by spreading rumors about where he was and what he had, and exploited this weakness. He couldn’t see past his own desire for power, as it was not something that the Gemini Cult had foreseen being a complication, they had not bothered to correct it. He was blind to anything that wasn’t power. Using a clever illusion, Thomas projected an image of a powerful vyrelord onto a hapless villager he had captured and filled with an inordinate amount of items that were either holy, silver, poisonous, disease-ridden, unholy, or explosive. The resulting attempt at absorbing his victim led to Castor’s own demise at the hands of Thomas* trick. Castor’s remains are kept in jars in Thomas’ office to this day, as samples of the first successful chimera. It was after this that Thomas opened up Chimera Labs, a covert science conclave dedicated to power through knowledge, with the chief purpose actually being the recreation of chimeras.

Brief Summary: Chimeras are an amalgamation of several different races that come together to form a sentient monster with the powers of the races that were fused to them. They were created by Zarosians in the God Wars, but they rebelled against their masters in a pursuit of more power for themselves.

Name of Race: Bladekin, and their 'subrace' the Outcasts

Life Expectancy: two hundred and fifty years

Where did they come from?: They're a race that lives on an isolated island in the north western sea of Gielinor.

When did they arrive on Gielinor?: They were brought into this world before the God Wars began by their two gods which are referred to as the Mother of Battle, and the Father of the Forge.

Physical Description: The Bladekin are normally light skinned with human-like appearance. Their gaze however, is normally more vivid colors like violet, bright shades of greens and blues ect.
Their most primary feature though, is the monkey-like tail they have. Sets them apart from humans for sure.
The 'Forged' Bladekin are born with light blue tattoos somewhere on their body, signing them as able to forge the weapon charms

Current State of Population: The primary of the race live on their Island of the Forge, though as of late they are seen more around the world, especially refugees and the Outcasts, seeking to find a home, and a new village to settle.

Brief History: After their arrival to the world, the Bladekin began setting up shop on the island they called home, carving the Caverns of Forges, where their rituals of Weapon making takes place.

Grace-susceptible: Yes, max of two.

Racial Ability: Bladekin forge their 'Soul' weapon during a ritual when coming of age. The weapon, how it's forged, and it's materials more or less call to them, making a very specialized weapon that has an ability with it.
Other Bladekin with glowing tattoos are able to make weapon enhancing charms and enhancements.

Weaknesses: Bladekin are only allowed to make one weapon in their life time. If they lose it, or it breaks then they, themselves, are never able to gain another. As such, Most treasure the weapon as a part of their soul. The Bladekin as a whole is also raised to believe combat as a 'fun' activity, never taking a life less fully in danger or challenged to a 'to the death' duel.

Brief Summary: The Bladekin are a peaceful race of weapon crafters who go through an adulthood ritual of forging their Soul (the weapon of which they bond with) The weapon itself is what contains their power. The race can only ever make, and use the 'Soul' they have, those who go against this rule, or lose their weapon become Outcasts, Weaponless.
