Purpose: Mercanery Group

Home Location/Details: The Embers currently gather at the Eagle's peak camp. But while it is currently just an encampement and HUB, there are plans to expand and construct a castle. This castle will have more defences, be fit to train and store the Eagles of the Peak, a mead hall, and other features befit to train, protect and contain the members when they are not somewhere dying for money.

NPC Members: Numbers: Varies, Approximately 35. Notable: Ex-Partisan Markus Rork* (Caretaker), Kinshra Infiltrator Cliff Rork* (Caretaker), Xil-Heel (Mascot/Initiate), Alten Vale (Leader of the Eagle Lancer Squad.), Lord master Basil C. Dorn the fifth (Eagle).

PC Members: Daniel Arric, Artemis Channary (Both Initiates, I don't see them ranking up anytime soon.)

Other: The Embers might be one of the few official groups or factions (Not counting entire kingdoms) that are completely non-biased towards any race, or on the matter of graces, otherworlders, or past. Meaning they support literally anyone aslong as they are willing to abide by their rather fair laws. 1: Don't be Dumb.

Name: Guild of Demonology

Purpose: To fully study and understand demonkind while also using their knowledge to prevent subjugation by demon incursions.

Home Location/Details: The Guild is based south of Ardougne in a large once-abandoned Saradominist church. (Proxy is Paterdomus)

NPC Members: The Guild of Demonology is a few hundred strong, and is led by Doctor Harrison Wells.

Other: The Guild is renowned for their unique magical rituals and chants that are taught to its members.

Clairvoyance - A chant that is designed to reveal demonic entities or activity in the chanter’s line of sight. The duration of the chant will reveal more information on a demon or the activity in the area. This chant will make the chanter more unaware of the surroundings as they continue, despite giving them more information on the demonic activity or demon which they are chanting at.

Evoke Guidance - A chant which can call forth the mind of a demon. It is not a full summoning, it is essentially just opening a channel of communication with a random demonic entity, though if one is holding an item deeply connected to a specific entity, they can contact this being specifically as well.

Enochian Barrier - A spell that conjures an outlining barrier around whoever the demonologist casts it towards, this barrier offers protection from spells or entities of either holy or unholy natures, and is obviously denoted by white glyphs that surround the entity whom has been protected.

Exorcism - A chant commonly used to banish problematic demons. It is a two stanza chant that requires being said in rhythmic verse without interruption, which usually means the demon needs to be restrained.

Exert Will - A chant that allows the demonologist to attempt to exert their will over a demon, this can*t always be obtained, as it requires a certain force of will that must be enough to overpower that of the demon in question. Many demonologists find this to be a dangerous effect as the effect can backfire and cause the demon to gain control of them as opposed the other way around. This can be obtained instantly with just the demon’s true name.

Emotional Anchor - Demonologists are trained to be able to withstand the pull of demonic persuasion via any kind of empathy, however, this sometimes isn’t enough. That is why there is a spell that anchors the caster’s emotions to a neutral tether, allowing them to cut themselves off from drastic emotional changes.

Physical Anchor - A chant that allows a demonologist to anchor themselves or an ally to a physical location, which a second chant will allow them to recall to.

Demonic Summoning - Demonologists are trained in the various arts of summoning demons, and are able to do so in an expedited manner, as they also keep a record of true names of various demons.
