Grace of Mana Development: Ankylos has an unnatural propensity for growth of magical power, and even fairly simple exercises provide him with significant benefit. As such, he has far more Mana than most magickal practitioners of his level possess.

Talents/Skills: Ankylos' studies have been almost entirely in the field of NEcromancy, and thus the manipulation of life energy. This allows him both to curse his enemies, but potentially heal them. The largest, most noteworthy ability he possesses is the ability to raise the dead as his eager servants. While he lacks the ability of many story-book villains to raise legions of the dead with a single glance, he can nevertheless raise the dead one at a time to join his minions.

Weapons/Specialized Tools: Ankylos carries a wand, within which he stores his excess Mana as an external battery. He also carries a tome of forbidden necromantic secrets, which he studies.

Weaknesses: Being Slain By Conventional Means. Ankylos has yet to discern how to make himself immortal, despite his best efforts. He hopes to alleviate that shortcoming, some day.

Appearance: Ankylos is of fairly average height, at 5'10. He has a lean build, with little actual musculature on him. His hair is black as midnight, and his eyes are a jade green. He dresses primarily in darkly hued clothing, to better conceal him during his more clandestine study opportunities.

Brief History: Ankylos hails from a small hamlet in Northern Kandarin. How precisely he encountered his tome is a matter of some speculation, but since then his aptitude for it has become quite evident. Ankylos was denied apprenticeship by the more reputable institutions, and took up residence in a set of abandoned mausoleum catacombs. Over time, he built himself up a proper laboratory. (Cont'd)

Thus it was that he set out into the world to practice his craft on whatever unfortunates decided to attack him, that he could gather his minions at his laboratory and continue his experiments.

Grace/Racial Powers: Sefira has two Graces which she is capable of using. They are:

Channeling: Objects in contact with the user can be used to transfer magic and magical energy, as can the user's own body. While Channeling an object for transfer, its usual conduction of magic is ignored, allowing for a transfer rate approximately as quick and efficient as with a wand. Channeling through the user's body can not be used to absorb or store magic, and must be moved out of the body in the same method with which it was consumed.

Limit Reverse: For a period of several seconds, all Physical Limitations are disabled for the user. This includes pain receptors, join and muscle tension and lockup, and any other inhibitor that inherently exists as a subconsious effort to prevent overly- strenuous or potentially self-harming activity. This, of course, comes with the high risk of physical injury as a result, but can allow for feats of speed, strength, and agility that are not typically possible to perform on a whim.

Talents/Skills: Sefira is quite skilled with swords, in either or both hands, and often uses two longswords. Additionally, she has apt training as a mage, and is capable of casting fire and earth elemental magic accurately, as well as showing minor ability with utility magicks. Her physical capabilities are quite honed, making her fearsome as an opponent.

Weapons/Specialized Tools: Sefira's arsenal consists of a pair of steel longswords, especially durable through repeated retempering. Her swords are modified with small, reinforced orbs capable of being charged with magical energy. By charging the swords with spells ahead of time, Sefira is capable of casting magic in battle, without the need to crush runes, and by cycling the magic between the orbs and her body in a continual loop, by using the swords as as conduits, she is capable of removing their inherent conductivity to magic, allowing them to sling magic with speed and efficiency similar to that of a wand. Her steel plate armor is similarly modified, to allow for quickly casting her way out of a tricky situation.

Weaknesses: By nature, Sefira is very introverted. She doesn't much mind company occasionally, but finds being around others to be tiresome, and often ends up distancing herself. As a result, her ability to communicate with others is quite lacking, and she does not work very well in a team. She often works for her own benefit, which can cause trouble for others, sometimes even putting them at risk. In addition, Sefira is also quite terrified of chinchompas.

Appearance: Stood at 5'6" tall, Sefira is sports a lean figure, being well-built for combat. Her skin is fairly pale, and and her complexion isn't exactly the clearest. Leather wraps adorn her chest and left arm, and a steel brassard sweeps over the leather strips, modified similarly to her weapons. A leather sash is hung from her waist, and thick leather pants and lightly-plated thigh length boots cover her legs and feet. A pleated leather cloak is typically draped over her shoulders, and leather is wrapped over her head like a cowl. Dark, medium-length hair frames a face that might seem a bit young for her age. Her grey eyes are naturally quite narrow, and are typically quite cold and analyzing. A smile can rarely be seen on her face, who's expression is almost exclusively a distant seriousness.

Brief History: Sefira has usually been a loner. There is very little about her past that she would actually disclose. Her life hasn't been an overly pleasant one, with a trail of blood leading right to her present self. She's lived as a mercenary, a bounty hunter, and even a simple killer. Meeting like-minded people, she would accompany them, learn from them what was useful, and leave, repeating the process, striving to reach the self that is the ideal combatant.

If you want to know much more about Sefira, just try to pry it out of her.

Shapeshifting: Veron has the ability to shift form into a black cat equivalent in size to a medium dog. This form is primarily for stealth.

Talents/Skills: As a knight-errant, Veron Xegis is a highly capable warrior and soldier who offers his service to the kingdom of Misthalin as a mercenary in order to protect the citizens from any force that may try to cross the Salve. Given with his ability to shapeshift, Veron is primarily useful for recon missions and stealth attacks.

Weapons/Specialized Tools: Veron is trained to use a variety of melee and range weapons. He primarily favors a set of long steel claws.

Weaknesses: Veron, in general, is very friendly and open-minded. He enjoys learning about new people, new places, and embraces life with a child-like wonder. Veron is a loyal friend and a loyal soldier. Though he tends to over-analyze and act like he knows what he's doing, he is a soldier who is sarcastically witty, brave, confident, and enjoys finding humor in situations.


Appearance: Veron stands at 5'10" and weighs about 190 pounds. From years of training as a knight, Veron has a very athletic build. He is approachable as he always keeps a clean and well-maintained appearance. Like most of the Xegis family, Veron has dark green eyes and medium length dark brown hair.
