Tendered by the hand of Captain Avalynn Callahan, Commander, White Fire, arriving upon the desk of the Lord Regent Manfred, acting Commander:

"With great sadness and remorse is this letter is addressed to you. Despite our troops great faith and trust in past few months - as well as my own - we have found ourselves betrayed and allured by a devil. Lamentations and despair fills the encampment now with this ill news and we curse the name of him whom we pledged our allegiance to, outside the Command of His Holiness, Saradomin.
With no hesitation do we admit our fault upon being seduced and questioning not where we truly fielded our beliefs, though, this blame must solely rest upon yours truly, having been entrusted many men under my command, even if it be by such a damnable crafter.

Let it be here and now declared that the White Flame is no longer held to the allegiance and oath is sworn to the former "King", though without a doubt, this Army must still be considered a valid and recognized force, equipped readily to dispatch those foes of His Holiness, though we act with hesitation in so readily rejoining the White Knights until there is more information revealed to us and thus disseminated to our Troops.

Nor am I prepared to disband my position of Commander and demand a parley with the Lord Regent in order to discuss further terms to not only guarantee the safe transition from one position to another of my men, but to also further perpetuate Lord Saradomin's will, whether that be in tune with yours or our current vision.

Queen Rosaline to Sir Manfred Keenan, the esteemed Grand Master of the White Knights, and his most loyal partisans.

My heart breaks with the news coming out of my kingdom. We were betrayed all--that wicked warlord and his cunning ways. I should have known better; my misgivings concerning the safe return of my lord, husband and king, once cast aside now return with great vitriol and vexatious regret. Our magicks to determine his true self failed us. I accept full responsibility for allowing that villain to rule in my stead. It was an error made in good faith, out of duty and love for the kingdom. Such a mistake won't be repeated, of that I can assure you.

Regrettably, the war in Senntisten turns against Our Lord and allies. I thought by joining His forces I could make a difference, however small, and perhaps even see the tide of battle turned. In hindsight, my faith was misplaced. I've done what I can for our people here, but it's high time I return to Asgarnia and resume the throne. She will need the guidance of her queen, especially now in the wake of these dark and troubling revelations.

The reveal behind the true identity of King Jacob has given the former Duke the opportunity he has been preparing for. Whispers have spread throughout the south that Lord Valengale lives and those who wish to serve him once more should take up arms. Only a few days after the news was released a southern host flying the banners of House Valengale would emerge from the forests outside of Galewood. The army would quickly flood into the keep and secure it. They would not waste time and after leaving a small garrison to defend their home, the army would march towards Rimmington. Scouts were sent ahead of the army to rendezvous with other loyalists and people who wished to fight with their Lord. A letter was also sent to the capital from Lord Viktor to the Regent Manfred.
It's just business.

Two weeks after the first reports of the establishment of a Valengale encampment near Rimmington, the Regent had gathered a host to take with him to join the Earl in the south.

One hundred mounted knights, of which all were White Knights, accompanied a few thousand soldiers levied from lands and lords surrounding Falador, although there was no announcement as to the intentions of the Regent, he sent word ahead of himself that he intended to travel from the capital to meet with Viktor.
