Status Quo

Following the coronation of the King Jacob, a meeting between an ambassador from Kandarin and His Majesty reaffirmed previously agreed upon terms for trade between the two kingdoms, with the exception of a pact between them to embargo trade with ships, merchants, and assets associated with or possessed by Giovanni Ferrarius, his family, or Ashdale, which has since been lifted.

Merchant vessels originating from Kandarin would begin to arrive in the Port of Sarim in coming weeks, bringing with them imports such as metals, runes, and foodstuffs, among other things. Some of these vessels, which bore the crest of Kandarin, and were sailing in service of its Queen specifically, also carried medical supplies, food, and ferried volunteers from Kandarin who are on their way to join the struggle with the Elder Gods. Updates

Following a series of royal court roleplays the following announcements can be made:

- The Duke of Lassaria has been named as the new Chancellor of Asgarnia. In addition, he has been gifted the ruined settlement of Kinsport and the funds for its reconstruction
- Lord Locke of Rimmington has been awarded the rank of Earl and granted regency over the region of Draynor
- Lady Kreehar has joined the royal court and been granted the title of Commander of the Guard
- Perseus Renderra has been awarded the title of Spymaster and the settlement of Taverly
- A royal representative has been dispatched to Port Sarim to ascertain the status of Duke Viktor "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

Heading east along the main road through Sarimia they came. A host of loyal asgarnian soldiers some two thousand strong marching to the Draynor crossroads. First came the pikes and the heavy infantry, the piles carried high and their heavy steel armour shining brightly in the late winter sun. Behind them, rank upon rank of grim faced bowmen, dressed in studded leather and carrying longbows of maple and yew. Finally behind them came the the rearguard, some three hundred engineers, logicians and quatermasters marching alongside an almost excessive number of covered wagons. The group paused at the crossroads for a moment but swiftly turned left, arriving at Draynor Manor soon after.

From that moment on the sounds of hammering and sawing from the manor were ceaseless. Work continued on the building around the clock and it would not be long before the occupants of the nearby village began to noticed that it looked more fortified than before.Gates and portcullises were put in place at every gap in the walls, which were slowly being raised and strengthened. Much of the roof was being modified to make it suitable for archer and artillery posts (much of which had been delivered in the covered wagons it must be assumed). If one looked closely it appeared foundations were being laid at three different points around the perimeter, though it was not yet clear what purpose this would serve.

Finally it was rumored that the Earl of Taverly, a man famed among the druids had been sent by the king to add additional magical defenses. Evidently Asgarnia wanted to make sure that this corner of it’s kingdom was quite secure. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"
