First of all great guide! I do have a few questions, if you don't mind me asking.
1. Are most of the roleplays constantly on? Like a section of a world populated by people constabtly role playing. Or are they scheduled events? I just can't seem to find any times.
2. Are any events bad for new guys? Just too advanced type deal
3. How do I PM on the forums, for the life of me I can't figure it out.

1. The server is, unfortunately, quiet these days. The best way to find roleplay is to find groups, such as the Empire of Asgarnia, the Void Knights, the Kingdom of Kandarin, and what have you. As you explore these groups, which is necessary due to low population levels, you'll gradually find new friends with whom you'll be able to roleplay with as your time here progresses. There was once a time where you could teleport to Falador and find roleplay in the Rising Sun at any time of day, alas, no longer.

2. No, I would never think so. I've been to many a 'complex' event (the most complex thing you'll find is a plot with a twist that uses dice) where a newbie has participated. Behind the open hostility some people show, we're a friendly bunch that desperately want to help people join in on our roleplays. You'll have anything you need to be explained, explained to you twice as much as you need it explained, but remember to ask!

3. RuneScape has no such feature, I'm afraid. The only contact available is public posting or PM'ing people in-game.

No pvp is done in the text version of W42 RP. We simply do things like;

* Character A would take the handle of his greatsword in both his hands and slice at character B's left arm with a horizontal swing.*


We type out our actions as accurate as possible in combat like this most of the time instead of doing PVP. I say most of the time because Themeplay does have PVP involved. Quickly learn how to Roleplay on RuneScape!
