The Commendation Store is a way to customize your Temple Knight's gear in a structured fashion. As you complete missions, earn medals , and rank up you will earn Commendation Points . You can spend these points in this store on various upgrades to your arms and armor. A guide to Commendation Points can be found here .

Headgear Upgrades
]

Face Mask: 10 - A specially woven fabric that blocks dust and smoke, but still allows for unrestricted breathing.

Nose Peg: 10 - A custom fitted plug for the nostrils imbued with air runes that won't impede breathing while blocking harmful odors.

Earmuffs: 10 - Special earmuffs that magically muffle loud noises while allowing for regular hearing.

CommOrb Link: 10 - A crystal implant that links your helmet to your CommOrb. You still need to have your CommOrb on you, but you can use its functions hands free... and discreetly.

Teleportation Destination: 10 - Select a destination. Your helmet can teleport you there once per day. This upgrade can be applied up to 4 times.

Focus Sight: 20 - A fitted eyepiece that allows you to zoom in on targets, making ranged attacks (and reading fine print at 10 meters) easier.

Hexcrest: 20 - An enchanted circlet embedded in your helmet that acts as a magical focus, making magical attacks more accurate.

Black Mask: 20 - Mysterious wood from Mos'le Harmless grafted into your helmet that aids you in hitting opponents with melee attacks. Might cause slight psychosis.

]

Extra Plating: 10 - Extra heavy armor forged onto your hauberk and cuisse. Protects well against blades and ranged attacks.

Extra Padding: 10 - Extra leather padding sewn into your hauberk and cuisse. Protects well against ranged attacks and spells.

Mystical Fabric: 10 - Extra magical weaving sewn into your hauberk and cuisse. Protects well against spells and melee attacks.

Improved Fitting: 10 - A trim here, some grinding there. Your armor is custom fitted to you, allowing you to move more easily.

Hidden Pockets: 10 - Pockets specially made to be nearly impossible to find on a pat-down. Can store small objects.

Muffled Joints: 20 - Well oiled and maintained joints mean you're significantly quieter than a normal armored knight.

Pneumatic Support: 20 - A bit of dwarven ingenuity gives you greatly increased non-combat strength.

Divine Blessing: 20 - Anointed with sacred oils and blessed by high priests, your armor makes Saradomin more likely to hear your prayers.

Aegis of Saradomin: 40 - Imbued with divine protection, there is a small chance Saradomin will reduce the impact of a hit you take.

Healing Weave: 40 - A fabric mesh coated in crushed, enchanted onyx gives you a slow, passive healing ability. For best results, rest.

Improved Pick-pocketing: 10 - Your gloves are now lined with black kebbit fur, allowing for easier pick-pocketing.

Flint Fingertips: 10 - With a snap of your fingers, you can produce sparks.

Sharpened Fingertips: 10 - Not particularly deadly, the sharpened tips of these gloves can be used for utility work.

Improved Grip: 20 - Specially textured leather on the palms and fingers of your gloves make it easier for you to hold onto objects, ledges and weapons.

Runic Knuckles: 20 - Built into the knuckles of your gauntlets, you can use a single-use clip of runes as a magical melee attack.

Hidden Blade: 20 - Built into your forearm brace, you can deploy a concealed holdout blade for assassinations or last-ditch defense.

Hidden Pistol Crossbow: 20 - Built into your forearm brace, you can deploy a concealed single-shot pistol crossbow for assassinations or last-ditch defense.

Feet Upgrades
]

Muffled Movement: 10 - Specially padded soles of your boots make you harder to hear when moving.

Shock Absorption: 10 - Reverse-engineered Gnomish spring technology helps dissipate kinetic energy from falling.

Light Lining: 10 - A specially enchanted lining that makes your footfall lighter, leaving almost no tracks. Does not affect sound.

Insulated Soles: 10 - A rubber coating allows you to walk across electrically charged surfaces unharmed.

Air J.O.R.D.A.N.S.: 20 - Jumping Over Radical Distances And Nice Shoes. Using packs of Air Runes, this doubles your jump height and distance. Use carefully. 3 uses per pack.

Fire Rune Boost: 20 - Activated by a pressure pad in the heel, packs of fire runes propel you forward a short distance. Warning, still in testing. One use per pack.

Hidden Blade: 20 - A pressure pad built into the toe of your boot, when tapped, projects a hidden blade from your boot allowing for lethal kicks.

Basilisk Bane: 10 - Imbued with extra-planar ore, your weapon deals additional damage to basilisks.

Wallisalki Bane: 10 - Imbued with extra-planar ore, your weapon deals additional damage to wallisalkis.

Demon Bane: 20 - Imbued with extra-planar ore and divine blessings, your weapon deals additional damage to demons.

Salve Shards: 30 - Salve crystal shards embedded in the pommel of your weapon weaken and deal more damage to undead.

Blisterwood Hilt: 40 - Your weapon's grip is replaced by Blisterwood imported to Misthalin from Morytania. Allows silver weapons to damage vampyres.

Dragon Bane: 40 - Imbued with extra-planar ore, your weapon deals additional damage to dragons.

Arrow Retrieval: 20 - Your arrows, so long as they are retrievable and unbroken, are automatically teleported back to your quiver.

Arcane Capacitor: 20 - You have a 1 in 8 chance to save runes on spells you cast.

Custom Sheathe: 20 - You can draw your weapon, no matter the size, very quickly and effectively.

Light Pack: 20 - A special enchantment on your backpack makes it and its contents weigh significantly less.

Inquisitor's Prayerbook: 40 - An ancient hymnal full of esoteric, and borderline blasphemous, curses. Allows your character to use Ancient Curses.

Earning Commendations
]
†


Commendations are the currency you use to customize your character's gear. Commendations are granted upon awarding of medals or promotion to a new rank. All Initiates start off with 20 Commendations. Each subsequent rank is an additional 10 Commendations. Each medal awarded is worth 1 Commendation (with the exception of the Saradomin's Star), and it takes 10 medals (plus some special requirements) to be promoted to a new rank. Saradomin's Star, being the highest honor given to an enlisted knight, is worth 10 commendation points.

(20 Starting, plus 0 medals and 0 ranks.)


Proselyte
- 40 Commendations
(20 Starting, plus 10 medals and 1 rank.)


Acolyte
- 60 Commendations
(20 Starting, plus 20 medals and 2 ranks.)


Partisan
- 90 Commendations
(20 Starting, plus 30 medals, 3 ranks and 10 for the Saradomin's Star.)

Risk Rating
]

Risk Rating is an Out-Of-Character measure of the risk associated with certain missions or objectives. By going on those missions, you understand the Risk Rating and accept whatever consequences might come. Please Note: All OPERATIONS will be a Level 5 Risk.


Level 1:
There is practically no risk involved whatsoever. An unlucky character might stub a toe or get a splinter. There will be mommy kisses for any boo-boos.

Level 2:
You might get a few scrapes or even a bruise from these missions. Situationally aware or lucky characters will still come out unscathed.

Level 3:
This is where things start getting rough. You might find yourself with some chipped teeth, black eyes, extensive bruising, perhaps even a limp. Generally nothing a little bit of resting won't fix.

Level 4:
This is where bones start getting broken and organs get punctured. The injuries you face here will put even the toughest characters on bedrest, even with good healers on hand.

Level 5:
This tier is where anything goes. There is a real risk of permanent damage to your character.
Character mutilation, or even death may occur.
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

To avoid embarrassing situations, I will be detailing a list of Command-approved personalized gear that are available for Acolytes and Partisans to wear. These are merely examples and suggestions, and is by no means a complete list..


Demon Hunter Armor



Warpriest Armor and Croziers


Warpriest armor requires distinguished participation in the Battle of Lumbridge.

Colossus and Titan Armor, Saradomin (God)Swords


Colossus and Titan armor require distinguished and intrepid feats at defending Asgarnia.

White Armor



Backpacks




Backpacks and other tactical wear are approved for lower ranks as well.
