Finding the mark, Jake O'Malley, off-guard and in the bath, Strife and Elaran were able to successfully intimidate him into accepting his original rate without the use of torture.

Meanwhile, Stark occupied himself rifling through the man's stored coats and looting a golden pocket-watch.

Stark, Strife, and Elaran all got a 110gp cut from selling the watch.

A White Knight Lance was wiped out by unknown forces in northern Asgarnia. Retrieve their equipment before it falls into the wrong hands.

Lieutenant Stasov, Partisan Stark, and Proselyte Elaran investigated the reports of a White Knight recon team going dark in northern Asgarnia. Upon arrival, they found all the knights deceased and in various states of disembowelment and dismemberment. They also noted that most bodies had been eaten from, and the bite marks were roughly human-shaped.

Finding old, sludgy, rotted blood along with freshly coagulated blood, Lieutenant Stasov and Partisan Stark theorize they they were set upon by undead. Further investigation revealed that the undead had laid in wait, completely surrounding the knights before attacking. Both Stark and Stasov believe a necromancer is to blame for the attack.

With all the gear recovered from the bodies, Stark ordered Elaran to burn the corpses so that they could not be used for necromantic rituals. Logan was kind enough to say a prayer over the fallen knights, and the trio returned to town.

With the Order of the Golden Star gone from Rimmington, perhaps now is a good time to start asking questions.

Having taken too long to investigate, Silver found the Order of the Golden Star had replaced Rimmington's local guards. Granted extra-judicial rights and authority by the King's court and Entrana, the Order of the Golden Star has Rimmington under lock and key with an area teleblock.

Strife, Majida, and Elaran, disguised as reporters and their bodyguard, were accosted by Order Acolytes when they tried to speak privately. After a brief talk with the Deaon in charge of Rimmington, they decided to leave and discovered the teleblock. Once back in Falador, they reported to Stark who left it up to them if they wished to continue pressing the matter.

"Welcome to Rimmington!"

I've been out of the loop so long, I forgot the most critical asset to any temple knight... The damned archives. Spent all of last night trawling through various documents...Argyle, Argyle....that he-she bitch is up to something, I just know it. Her whole family seems...odd. And she doesn't look like an Argyle, either, most of them have tanned, Karajaman skins, and she's as pale as snow, but that's only the tip of the iceberg...Justinine Argyle, her supposed father, has been tangled up in various operations regarding the Kinshra. When you find someone who's dossier is that classified, it's normally bad news.

The only people who've ever survived any of this guy's many heroic deeds are the leader of the Kinshra and some retired Kinshra spymaster living off in Catherby. It might just be paranoia, but....could they really be the ones behind selling the armour recipe? Dealing with the Kinshra behind our backs? Might just be paranoia, but a lead's a lead, and I'm not letting this die off.

...speaking of dying, I finally faced one of the many figures who's been haunting my dreams recently, and gods damn it, why didn't we check earlier?! Sir Lee, the poor damned sod me and plank took in for selling the recipe for white metal. Following up my suspicions from my earlier researches, I interviewed him...he recognized me instantly. I'm the reason he's in there, after all.

...it's not all bad news, though. Once I convinced him I'm actually on his side, he let slip that his team were smiths, barely trained in combat by the sounds of it. During the siege, one of their comrades was left for dead, a man named Lepht, I believe. Since we got word that it was specifically a member of the Kinshra who was selling off the white metal recipe in the first place...if the man they left for dead survived...Lee could be innocent. I need to talk to Stark. Need more time to redeem Lee, and redeem myself too.
Thoughtcrime doesn't entail death. Thoughtcrime IS death.

While walking the streets of Falador, you hear a crumpling sound. You look beneath your boot and find that you've stepped on a flier. Emblazoned at the top of the page is a large, ornate, golden star. You decide to give it a quick once over.

Cast Out the Heretics!
]

Heathens, heretics, and sinners! These treacherous abominations deserve no quarter in these fabled lands of Asgarnia! Only the good, pious, and righteous ought to dare claim Asgarnia as a home to rest their weary heads!

Do not succumb to the weakness propagated by the heretic Atheos. Do not share your land with those that do not deserve it! Only we righteous few are given the divine right to live in such a wondrous, prosperous land! It is by the sweat of our brows that makes Asgrnia great! Those devil-worshipers and silver-tongued druids would rather suckle from the teats our our labor like a vyreling on a neck rather than make their own lands prosper.

Nay! They deserve no such coddling! Stand up, righteous citizens! Do not let Asgarnia fall into ruin due to the kingdom's inaction! Do what the king and his minions will not; drive out these wretched abominations from our midst! Do not be satisfied living in the midst of sinners and heretics!

And if they refuse to be moved by our righteous will, then it is a blessed task to send them to the lords they so proudly serve! Aye, by Saradomin's Divine Wisdom, it is virtuous and saintly to bring ruin upon the corporeal forms of our enemies! Leave not one unscathed! Let them bathe in the glory of Saradomin's wrath! Be sure in your purpose, as it has been ordained by Saradomin himself!

Kill the heretics, burn their possessions, wipe their very existence from the face of glorious Asgarnia! Leave no stone unturned, righteous reader! Let your hands not be idle, be an instrument of Saradomin's righteous will!

Go for a routine check in with Cobalt Team stationed at Paterdomus. Make sure everything is being properly attended to.

A thorough inspection of Cobalt's station revealed that they are up to par, if a bit undermanned. Upon investigation of the under-croft library, however, Strife was able to find writings left behind by a Myreque cell between some bookcases and Majida found a mysterious cipher in a text she was sent to retrieve by Argyle. They chose not to reveal either to Argyle before departing for home.

Bringing the cipher to Stark revealed that it is an older Temple Knight code. Stark is currently working on deciphering the text.

The deciphered letter.
