The devious Zande's plan had begun. By infiltrating Falador Castle, he had managed to steal everyone's socks. ALL the socks. A raging sockfire blazed atop the Westmost tower, a symbol of the doom to come. Why the socks? A foolish question. Few things matter more to a soldier than socks. The marching. The climates. The fungus. The little things add up.

Truly, man's inhumanity to his fellow man has reached a new nadir. Vae Victis!

On the future

We've had a good kickstart via the Invasion of Falador, but now we're on our own. Never fear, valiant comrades, for we've planned ahead on this; but first, an apology.

I've been inactive this week, and will be hard pressed to be active next week. It's that time of year, y'know, an insurmountable workload coming due at the end of the month/start of December and obviously I've done nothing towards that over the last two months. But without further ado, here's what's in store across the winter months.

The Retreat
With the Invasion of Falador come to an end, and Daquarius ordering his Commanders to lift the siege, the Kinshra are left with no option but to retreat to their fortress. Unfortunately, a roving band of Burthorpian elite, led by Sir Frederick William Grimdark, are doing their best to make this awkward. Commander Delrith intends to attack them with his own band of Elite, to preoccupy them and puncture their line until his men and the loot, equipment etc. is through.

Date: TBD
Time: TBD
Where?: Forests north of Falador

Norbert's Beef
During the razing of Port Sarim, a certain angsty Scotsman's distillery and home was raided. Norb's valuable and armour are in a caravan destined for markets in Draynor, departing from the south encampment. Norbert has learned of the Kinshra's plan to sell off his stuff, and intends to retrieve it before that happens.

Date: TBD
Time: TBD
Where?: North of Port Sarim

The Cult of Octavian: Part 1
For this installment, we shall travel slightly back in time, in the months building up to the Invasion of Falador. It is well known that Commanders Khalian and Delrith have come to prominence as two of Lord Daquarius' most trusted officers, but not how.
Delrith was once a Captain to a Commander named Octavian - a man whom Khalian dethroned when it was thought he had become too detached from the rest of the Order. This tale will begin with Commander Khalian's besieging of the Fortress, during a purge wherein the disloyal to Daquarius were removed in preparation for the Invasion.

Date: TBD
Time: TBD
Where?: The Fortress

A Grey Mourning
Edward Salvian, brother to the late Empress, is to take up the mantle of Asgarnia. A man known for his diligence, possessing a Crown wracked by instability and surrounded by enemies, coming from perhaps the most ruthless of dynasties witnessed, he is sure to not mourn his sister and country for too long before he takes action against those deemed responsible for the turmoil; against the Kinshra.

The Kinshra may have won the battle, but the war was far from over.

I might have to nab that event format for nefarious chaos purposes, Daniel. Writing style reminds me of the adventure hooks one could find in the Eberron books, and D&D in general.

On another note, apps coming soon. \[T]/

Those events look fun. I assume you're not talking about former Kinshra commander Octavian Vire, played by Red Lenses? He wasn't really overthrown so much as undermined; the Sicarius (during their early days) killed pretty much all the Kinshra under his command and it all sort of fell apart after that. Fittingly though, Octavian had overthrown the previous Kinshra commander plunging the whole order into a delightful civil war; the kind we have every couple of years or so.

I, for one, would most certainly create a cult in his name.

The Octavian mentioned (Which I swear is the 3rd or 4th member of the Kinshra with that name) was leader of the Kinshra between the recent Ardougne Invasion and about 1 - 2 months ago. Though I do believe he is named after the Octavian to which you refer.

In other news, the event planned sounds good and Samael will hopefully join in with it (Provided it's not on a sunday).

Nothing interesting happened.

Yeah, the Octavian mentioned was Voden's recent character.

I'll be able to update with some scheduling on Friday and Saturday. My reading week starts Monday, so I'll hopefully have it charted out and my timetable made up by the end of the weekend.
