In a perfect world, he kept up the facade and just remained Arenaride forever.

I wasn't sure/didn't care, at first, whether or not Arenaride and Pyro were the same person. Arenaride wasn't breaking rules. He wasn't roleplaying as a mahjarrat king of Forinthry (or so i thought ;) ), and he wasn't shit talking and making rude remarks at every opportunity.

When it was first speculated that he was in fact Pyro, I didn't believe it originally. When enough evidence was provided, and I saw his own reaction to the matter, I was convinced. Along with being messaged "Hey" every waking moment. Even then, I didn't care; I figured he was trying to turn a new leaf or something. Even if that wasn't the case, accepting him as a roleplayer was important to me as a person. Legitimately had people breathing down my neck about Arenaride being Pyro when I gave him land in Kandarin, or vouched for him, or whatever else.

I continuously told them I literally gave no shits. I'm not sure why I would need to; he was literally doing no harm and had, to my eyes, moved away from the whole lore-shattering and oft mocked King of Forinthry shtick. The entire experience made me genuinely wonder what this community would be like if everyone was hidden behind a new account and roleplayed for the sake of roleplaying, rather than sitting here and arguing over past transgressions and holding grudges by the throat like teenage high school girls.

Even now, my character (Axel) is not going to change his disposition towards Jacob Delvar unless he makes his true nature obvious. Even though a mahjarrat hiding perfectly is an affront to other mahjarrat characters, and I personally don't think mahjarrat should be played by anyone on 42, and the fact that Axel himself would be able to pick up on such traits, it's too much effort, and effectively does more harm to RP than it does good.

In truth, though, I probably would have allowed the user with the name "Lord Pyro I" the land and nobility as the character Jacob Delvar. Not sure if I would have crowned him King of anything though, let's be real. But that was Castigo, and Castigo didn't really know.

A lot of the points in Pyro's original post on this thread aren't too accurate. Axel wasn't persuaded to do anything; his intention was to have Jacob prove himself as a leader and he would have reunited Asgarnia back under him happily. The large unrest in the vicinity was a big problem. On top of that, the amount of OOC deceit involved was bountiful.

Another thing, Jacob never had the power to move Imperial troops and act as a commander of anything. I told him OOCly it was pointless to even attempt such, but offered a generous amount of imaginary armsmen to help out. For some reason, though, he and Ridaku think that mobilizing every last available Imperial unit and walking out of their garrisons to mess with some Kinshra was a realistic feat that could go unnoticed by Axel, the actual commanders and generals, and that they would for some reason listen to this puppet king.

But hey, RPers ain't perfect.

EDIT: And for whoever is saying "LOL U DIDN'T ACTUALLY KNOW", I can post logs literally dating back to August of me discussing it.

What he always says...

RiDaku said :
No, you asked Theo very specifically if White Knights do sneak attacks. Which he DM'd me asking me to clarify. I said they stepped out and announced themselves, separated the civilians from the militia, and then awaited a surrender - when none came, the militia was slain. His response was "Yeah, that sounds like them."

Though, at this point you're not even on topic. You're just trying to dig at the legitimacy of what I'm doing - which you were completely fine with, and even wanted to be involved.

Could you try and stick to one story for even a week? It'd help your credibility.

RiDaku: Truth be told, I didn't know that Jacob Delvar was Pyro in disguise.

But you did know it was Pyro, infact the three of you were in cahoots together. what people were being sent offline even revealed that.
