That's a lie. You published it, you put it out there, your subscribers read it, it's your responsibility. I don't know about the accusations going around about inaccuracies in the text. But that article is not impartial. And that's not what your subscribers signed up for. You need to print a retraction.

We'll take it as it comes, I guess. If anyone wants to complain about that article they can and we'll deal with each case individually.
As for the retraction - That won't happen, as I've already deployed phase two of my plan for the run of Asgarnian-Anglian articles regarding this phenomenon.
But, yes. If anyone wishes to complain: please do, but do it In-Characterly via sending a letter and posting it on the thread.
@ South Field
Thanks! I'll read it after I get home from work today.

Because we're a newspaper publishing the news - I think it's needed that we have a system for how we're going to play this as people can't decide who won in said battle.
Until people have decided and are
all in agreement
as to who won the battle, The Gielinor Times will
not
be recognizing it as happened.
This is because...
A
- We have content for issue 19 that
will
be rendered useless if we say the invaders have won.
B
- Being the only role-play newspaper: We need to be accurate. Therefore, we're not publishing anything about the battle until we can get a solid answer. This also means we can have eye witness accounts and reliable quotes in our content regarding the battle.
If anyone has any further questions about this please post on this thread or PM me in-game
or
leave me a message on my wiki talk page.

I do agree with this, and not just because it was about myself. By publishing it, the paper would be 100% responsible for its contents.
I'm not offended by the article (just because I'm not really easily-offended), but it's basically propaganda, and I don't really like how both it and the rules below are coexisting with the paper:
