Long have they knocked on our doors. Long have they arrested seemingly innocent people. Why? Since the reign of the noble retainer, Vectis Vekon, we have seen these dark robed men take away, what they call, 'dangers to the kingdom'. These 'abominations.' as they call them look no different than you or I, save for a touch of uniqueness here or there. An odd color of eyes, or a rare strain of hair. This is enough for our Kingdom to lock us away and, as they say, 'dispose' of the 'abominations'. This leads up to the very important question. Why? Why do we need this? Why must we be exposed to this oppression, living in fear of the Inquisitor's boot kicking down our door. One one hand, reports of demonic, undead, and dragon sighting have gone down, but on the other, the common people fear for their lives. While they may keep us safe from monsters, do they in turn become the monsters? Only time will tell.
