Honestly it depends on how they're applied; I can think of a few ways to make it work, even with the need for water.
Do those ways account for the cost and make sense within the technological time period in which the game is set while also accounting for the rules of role-play?
One man's trash is another's treasure, and one man's cash buys another's pleasure.
So I'll rob from the cradle, and I'll rob from the grave; it's just human traffic, and I'm just a slave.
As Brock does not control the Rubium mines, you would have to contact him and determine if 500 lbs of inventory is enough for your order. I'd wager you cannot make 250 decently-sized rubium cannonballs out of 500 lbs of rubium.
Everyone can stop worrying. I forgot to remove that item a long time ago. Brock's personal inventory of rubium that is listed on this thread isn't known by the public and it also isn't available to purchase. So there will be no purchase of rubium from A.E.

Yep, yep, depends on your own level of acceptance.

They think they are "the many", and I "the few". They think this gives them the right to walk over me.
