There was another addition to that loyalty she carried like a badge, and he was the one who quite literally coaxed the young woman out of the girl. Ren believed in her when she doubted even the most simplistic aspect of herself and abilities. At her side since they met, it did give her some sort of comfort. A safety net she's never had before, but at time too stubborn to rely on it. The fiery redhead who used to walk a straight line now jumped into the fire head first with a slightly better hold on the brakes than before. He would guide her, teach her of things she's only read in books, or witnessed by the hands of others. His stories of lifetime's past enthralled her thirst for more, which he promised to share his knowledge as long as she wanted it. She wanted it.

Thinking on him now, Yselt glanced over her shoulder to the man asleep not but a few feet away from where she stood at her fireplace. the view was a testament to how her private life had taken a dramatic turn she never imagined until it was practically in her face, and clearly tugging on her heart. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she returned to her silent vigil at the fire kept alive by pure arcane spirit radiating from her. So much to juggle, her strength unraveled for a moment as light glistened off the ribbons of tears spilling from her eyes of burning ember. She'd wipe them quickly, but they kept falling as stubbornly as she was.

One thing Yselt was adamant about, she never allowed anyone to see her break. This was not acceptable. She was an Aren, She was the Lady Mother. She was the good one, the nice one, the ladylike woman in red who maintained poise at all times and never denied anyone a smile or kind gesture if she felt the need. Her wrath was only triggered if anything she loved was threatened or hurt and Zamorak hath no fury like this young Aren if that was jeopardized in any way. Well, today she felt the sting of both while watching this woman take vows to marry another. Demyx was dead. Monica was starting a new life and it simply wasn't fair. As much as the temptation tickled through her fingertips as she charged a spell to sear the rings about the bride and groom's fingers, Yselt fought back the urge to simply torch Monica where she stood. Knowing that was not the smartest thing to do, she refrained. Control. She needed to work on that the most. Control. She was the King's kin.Control. Tommen was only doing what he sought fit. Control. As Archmage, she was under the service of the King. Control. The Aren's would still thrive. Control. It was the right thing to do.

Now. Standing there in the face of fire, both the flames in her room and the world outside it, she lost control.

Yselt cried alone.

A letter is delivered to Tommen via castle employee at first availability.

King Tommen,

As we have discussed, I am pulling together my knowledge and resources in order to begin the development of a school for exceptional children and youths of Camelot and surrounding areas. I am writing to inquire about the Sinclair Mansion and grounds, if it were available for my purposes of this venture. I plan to make it a boarding school for those who are chosen to live while in training. Every aspect of the home and grounds will be used to teach both magical and life skills. Please let me know the possibility of obtaining the residence so that I may begin preparations as soon as possible, or begin looking for another location of opportunity.

Sincerely,

Yselt Aren

After learning the fate of the beloved tower used by the Arens, Yselt went to investigate. Kaito was en route to accompany the mage to see about the accused attacker of both his daughter, Gwynel, and the tower, itself. Before Kaito could reach the location with Yselt, he was called away for more pressing business, so this left Yselt to venture alone. Upon arriving, the entrance to the mighty tower was destroyed along with all four ancient magic tree uprooted and levitating above the grounds exposing their roots. In the midst of the shocking scene was a
young girl of 16 apparently controlling the magic keeping the sparking trees in place within the air. There was confrontation. Words used like weapons between the two extraordinarily talented females before the air was settled again and trees returned to their rightful plots in the tower courtyard. One would walk away. The other left behind.

Yselt would not return to the castle this night.
