Some claim it's a dinosaur (stegosaurus), others claim it's a rhinoceros. Some people claim that the carving is a hoax, carved into the temple in recent times.

I thought u presented the evidence and dismissed it before I commented.

I'm not interested in if and buts and maybes. I want hard evidence ancient or current proving dinosaurs existed.
Dear God, please send the competition, feels like there ain't any.
I long lost count of the victories, there were just far too many.

Regardless of what evidence you present, someone will always claim it could be a hoax, or it could be something different.

I tried to present it in an unbiased way.

If you're looking for "hard evidence" that no one has disputed at all, I don't think you're going to find it.
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great! :)

^ are you saying there's no conclusive evidence past or present confirming that dinosaurs ever axtually existed??

Is paleontology a study into the theory of dinosaurs?

Bones? What bones? They're fossils. Rock. No DNA. No flesh. No bone

I'm not even sure if the bones turn to rock or if the bones left an impression in the rock.

The occurrences of fossilisation requires some very specific circumstances and is a very rare phenomenon.

One main method of fossilisation. ( taken from Natural History Museum info.)
When the animal dies soft parts of the animal's body, including skin and muscles, start to rot away. Scavengers may come and eat some of the remains.
Before the body disappears completely, it is buried by sediment - usually mud, sand or silt. Often at this point only the bones and teeth remain.
Many more layers of sediment build up on top. This puts a lot of weight and pressure onto the layers below, squashing them. Eventually, they turn into sedimentary rock.
While this is happening, water seeps into the bones and teeth, turning them to stone as it leaves behind minerals.
This process can take thousands or even millions of years.

^ do you believe in Medusa? I don't. I don't believe flesh or bone turns to rock. There's an old saying "ashes to ashes, and dust to dust" which means, "flesh and blood to flesh and blood, rocks to rocks".

Once upon a time I believed the dinosaur bones left imprints on the rock but now I'm not so sure.

No more or less than ethology is.

Well, dinosaurs turning to rock goes against my belief which is "ashes to ashes, and dust to dust."

I understand the moon god, the dust devil..... the sun is the ashes to ashes, the moon is the dust to dust.

Correct. No more real than social studies. Whatsmore, ethology is absolutely linked with the theory of dinosaurs - the entire evolution theory falls apart unless you believe in dinosaurs.
