Yesterday, I experienced a pain far worse than anything I have ever felt. Went with my two daughters to visit my husband in the alzheimer's ward, suffering late stage alzheimer's. Just seeing him laying there, but not there was heart rending. He has reached the stage where his speech is gone, and his mobility is all but gone. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

I know that pain very well. Had the same issue with my Grandmother.

It was very difficult seeing her the way she was for such a long time.
