Wow, nearly a year old since the last post, but I've seen a few threads asking STEM related questions I think it might be okay to let this one resurface.
I didn't want to hijack the other thread, but I was curious what it even means for fields or their material properties to be 1-form, 2-form, to be twisted?
Let's say that your material is a tensor instead of a constant... What does that mean in real life?
