Not many people know this, but Albert Einstein actually lived closer to us (time-wise) than he did to the building of the pyramids! Always blows my mind to think about.
Even Julius Caesar lived closer to us in time than to the first pyramids. The pyramid of Giza (built around 2600-2500 BC) is also the only of seven world wonders that still exists! I am a little bit fascinated by Ancient Egypt.

I knew I was old, but this viewpoint is depressing. He died in the same decade I was born...
