Congratulations to Italy, they deserved the win... they outplayed us (apart from the first 30 minutes).

Hated the penalty shootout, awful way to lose... and poor Saka, too much pressure on him by making him the last one to take a penalty. He was absolutely devastated.

I genuinely though England could go all the way this time and to have reached the final is a massive achievement... and hopefully a sign of things to come.

Bring on The World Cup!!

(I'll unstick this shortly)

It was a good game. It was actually my first time watching football even.

It was hilarious the way the crowd absolutely LOST THEIR SHIT on England's goal.

Super entertaining for what's probably the game of the decade lol both teams played hard, though yanking the dude's shirt definitely should have been a red card. Anyhow, Italy deserved it.

Totally agree, that should have been an immediate red.

I also wanna give big kudos to England's goalie, I think his name is Pickford? He did amazing. Definitely the MVP lol

Pickford is excellent. Unfortunately, so is Italy's goalie, Donnarumma. =/

All the England players deserve praise as far as I'm concerned, they all worked really hard and were a credit to the country.

If I had to pick out any for special praise it would be (and as a United fan it hurts to write this) Manchester City's Sterling, who was exceptional.

Shaw was also superb and Kane demonstrated why he is captain again and again throughout the tournament.

Finally a special mention for Saka, 19 years old and already a great talent.
