Weird England game last night, outstanding performance in the first half, then dull in the second half. Job done though and now waiting to see who we face in the "round of 16".

One thing is for certain, England's next game is going to be a bigger challenge.

Sorry to see Scotland are out =/

I think England will need to up their game before that.
We face France, Germany or Portugal in the next round.

The "Round of 16" (wish they'd think of a better name for it) games start tomorrow! I'll probably watch the Wales game.

As mentioned on page 1 "Come on England"

I have watched quite a few games and still waiting to see a team stand out and look like winning it.

France - Mediocre and lacking any passion.

Portugal - Ronaldo can only carry the team so far

Germany - Showing their age imo

Italy - 3 games = 3 wins somehow means nothing form wise

Belgium - Copy/paste from Italy

Spain - Crap, no more words needed

Holland - Wijnaldum is great but without V.V.D they lack the class to advance

Yes, there is other teams i chose not to mention but i reckon we will be watching an England v Switzerland final.

Fun to see this thread! And delight for the eyes to see these discussions.

I see alot of comments about England, to be honest, England has not really been put to test yet, Scotland, Croatia and Czech Republic with all due respect, but the results were quite expected, a narrow win by England. The true test comes versus Germany, and Germany is a bit shaky. Will be a great match. See below for my predictions.

Saturday 26th June
Wales vs Denmark Denmark knows how to score, and do it against Wales might be a bit hard, but eventually it'll slip for Wales and Denmark will manage to go through. Prediction : 0-2 Denmark win.

Italy vs Austria Italy has not conceded a goal in over 10 matches including the whole group stage, and their defence is worldclass, austria has real good chemistry, and absolutely create good chances, will it be enough for Italy? Not quite. Prediction: 3-0 italy

Sunday 27th June
Netherlands vs Czech Republic Should be a easy game for Netherlands, Prediction: 3-1 Netherlands.

Belgium vs Portugal A game i look really forward to, portugal knows how to score, so do Belgium. Prediction: 2-2 with overtime, and Portugal manage to advance.

Monday 28th June
Croatia vs Spain Croatia is not what they used to be unfortunately, not the same team we saw at World cup 2018. Spain should manage to win this comfortably. Prediction: 1-3 Spain

France vs Switzerland Not much to add here, France advance, that rhymed even. Prediction: 4-1 France

Tuesday 29th June
England vs Germany Here comes the game we all wait for. It can go either way, England has showed some solid performance at the back, and they atleast score over 0.5 goal per game. Germany has not been the best at avoiding goals at the back, will England score, probably Yes. Will Germany score? Thats the question. In the end i believe England will advance. I would be surprised if they didnt against a germany at this level.

Sweden vs Ukraine Here comes the game i person
