Not nearly as campy as I'd expected, and all in all a rather jolly romp, despite how silly the premise is :) Good, moderately gory fun, with Dominic Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Winstead putting in some solid supporting performances.

The Witcher

Seen a lot of bitching about this season, but I have to say that I've enjoyed it so far... even though it risks suffering from what I always thought was season 1's big problem, a shortage of monsters.

Good, violent fun, though.

Willem DaFoe is brilliant, one of my favourite actors, so I'll definitely look out for that one!

I watched the Euro Under 21 final last night, England won in fine style - haven't conceded a single goal in the whole competition, and Trafford made a fantastic penalty save - definitely the hero of the game :D

Great war movie if you are into that.

Platoon is a fantastic movie. Also includes Johnny Depp in only his third movie role.

Platoon is a great film, I should watch it again, it's been a while.
In a similar vein,

is probably my favourite war film.
