I watched a film last night that gets a lot of hate, but I really like it and think it's highly underrated:
Prometheus


I know it wasn't what a lot of people expected, or wanted from an Alien film but it's got a lot going for it - breath-taking visuals, an intriguing story and thought-provoking.

I'll be watching
Alien:Covenant
tonight... it's something to do while we wait patiently for the next film which is years overdue:

The good news is they started filming nine weeks ago.
There's also a TV series in the pipeline.

I binge watched the whole season of
Brand New Cherry Flavor
Each episode got more weirder and more creepy. I liked it.

Sadly it seems there wont be a second season, and it seemed the story came to an end anyway.

I followed up on Prometheus with
Alien: Covenant

Another one that's underrated, it's not that bad though it does have some huge plot holes and ridiculous behaviour

More drama in the first two episodes than entire seasons of some shows.

I finally watched
Jaws
1975 all the way through. And although I enjoyed it, it had a bit of humour in it. I was glad when the shark was blown up and killed, but there's not a shark on planet earth that could take that sort of punishment imo.

And I do know it wasn't a real shark lol. It was mechanical.

Guy Ritchie's the Covenant
2023 was a war movie, based on a true story (I believe). It is along the lines of another great movie called Lone Survivor. Its about an Afghani translator who saves the life of an American soldier against all odds, and the movie follows with the deal that the two had made.

I watched another good movie called
Sisu
2022.

Its about an ex Finnish soldier who discovers gold and has to fight off Nazi's in 1944 towards the end of the second world war.
