I finally watched
A Quiet Place
because it became available with Amazon Prime. It took a while for me to get into the film but I eventually got interested in what would happen to the family.
However I'm frustrated that there was no mention of how the creatures came to be on Earth. I'm also disappointed how it ended but I suppose it had to be that way to leave things open for the next film. :|

Yea I recognised many. Even the lead opening actor was from the Rome Series. Tommy is ghost rider and in the terminator. I prefer Pedro’s accent as Mando.

Also completed black snow. It’s an Australian crime show.

The problem is the acting of the supporting cast can be flat. Plot is okay. Nice to see Travis in another role after raised by wolves got cancelled. He has a diff accent !

Time passes 20 years and Pedro is looking the same. What’s ya secret.. only some greys lol

They address that in the second film. They don't go into a lot of detail but it does help explain things.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Thanks, I hoped the next film would make things clearer. I'll keep an eye out for it to come on prime. :)

Started watching Happy Valley. Let's see what happens :P
Season 1 completed. Definitely some surprising moments. I really feel bad for the kid, it isn't his fault. The cop shouldn't have done that. As long as he stays with loving people...he will be fine. She's been through alot.........and at the end that degenerate was willing sacrifice himself and the child. Good thing the cop/grandmother was there. Will see what's next in store for them. What nonsense that guy said about you can't get rid of the money...uh just burn it but you care too much about money. I'm more surprised his wife went along with it..

---------------------------------------------------------

It seems I didn't mention
Dexter
and Dexter new blood. This is top tier. I can't go into details here but.. :( I like Dex's personality. Second, the ending of new blood is trash I literally didn't want it that way!! How could they do that....again.

Dexter is brilliant :D
As for Happy Valley, I'm waiting for the last episode so I can watch it all in one go.

Been watching a few interrogations on YT. The tactics the detectives use can be very effective but that's what makes them so sinister - I hate the way they feign sympathy just to try and get a confession. Slapping a confession out of them would seem more humane in comparison.

It reminds of Clockwork Orange where Alex becomes the victim.
The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.
