Watched the most recent episode of
NCIS
(which is my guilty pleasure - a relaxing, easygoing show); not bad, despite the plot holes this week.

Also watched the latest episode of
LOTR: The Rings of Power
- not bad, less exciting than the last episode, good special effects as usual, but putting the wounded guy on a horse at the end seemed less than convincing! A lot of unanswered questions that I suspect are going to remain unanswered even after the series finale later this week. Morfydd Clark is absolutely excellent.

The main problem is that I don't think any of the characters are interesting enough to care about what happens to them.

It has a few good moments but I'm a bit disappointed overall.

I know. It is a very good movie. I almost want to watch it again.

I kind of like Ryan Reynolds. He's that guy from Deadpool right?

I've started getting my Halloween playlist ready, I'm aiming for it to last at least a week so I'll need a lot of films.

So far the stack of Blu Rays consists of:

Malignant

It Follows

The Cabin in The Woods

The Vampire Lovers

Dog Soldiers

...and I've got a copy of the newly-remastered
Evil Dead
winging its way to me.

I might go for a Shining/Doctor Sleep double bill on Halloween itself.
