I watched
Thirteen Lives
last night. Even though I knew the outcome I was drawn into the drama of it all and the time flew past. Definitely worth watching! :)

Glad you enjoyed it :)

I was so intrigued by it that I decided to watch the documentary version:
The Rescue
(National Geographic).
Even more moving than the film, I have to confess to a lump in my throat at the end, even though I knew how it all turned out.

A couple of things weren't in the film - if they had been, they'd probably have been dismissed as being far too convenient and far-fetched:

A woman who lived in the village just happened to be in a long-distance relationship with a man who was recognised as probbaly the world's top cave diver.

The visit of the monk (Kruba Boonchum) is in the film, but they didn't mention that after his visit, the rain stopped for days helping the rescue to take place.
It didn't get really bad again until the day after the 13 were saved... at which point the caves became inaccessible for eight months.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Signed up for Disney Plus now that our set-top box supports Android TV...

Watched the first episode of
Big Sky
last night (with Katheryn Winnick) - damn, but the final scene gave me a shock.

Been weeks really since I watched anything good. Now I have a NEW TV I can watch all sorts.

So last nigth I saw Lost inSpace pop up on Netflix and had a peek at Ep1.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5232792/

It was really good. My sort of tv show I can get into. I'll watch an ep each night till I clear up to Series 3.

For Me it's well worth watching. The cinematography is outstanding and on my old tv is looked crap to be fair. Now it's 100% watchable. ;)

Fixed 2 typos. :(

I watched
Moonfall
2022. Many review sites give it a low rating but I enjoyed it.

I was wondering whether to ignore the reviews and give it a go, I think I might now, thanks :)

I watched
The Empty Man
(Disney+)
The first twenty minutes was really different and intriguing, but then... I thought it had turned into a typical Urban Myth/Teen slasher film and then it took an unexpected turn that made me glad I stuck with it.
Definitely different and a good creepy horror.

Great stuff! :)
